Trying something new...I'm such a structure freak, I love a routine-so I blog on Sundays, but I'm going to try a new little experiment and open a new post on Monday and blog throughout the week. If I don't...then I'll fill in on Sundays...we'll see how it goes, I like the idea of the date being at the start of the week, who knows, we'll see.
Monday when we were tended Ann we had a fun surprise when Grama showed up.

For FHE we walked down and visited with Burton and Sharon Anderson, I didn't have my camera so all we ended up with was a tiny phone pic of checking out their goats. (I loved my old phone it took way better pics...oh well RIP old phone)Bubba's way into smack'n his lips this week, it is so funny, I want to get it on camera so I can make a little video but it hasn't happened yet.

Thursday Claud and Ryder came over to visit, when I set Cann down he wasn't so sure but then it was like...fine I'll hold his hand. It was funny.

Friday night Isaac tried (and succeeded...but barely) at catching out neighbors dog who was out and putting in back in their yard (he was back out the next time we went outside, it was hilarious) but he was so funny, when he came in he was telling me how ferocious the dog was "More Terror in his eyes than any Lion he's ever hunted." So funny.

Saturday we headed to Delta (Sutherland actually) to Aunt Marilyn's funeral, it was a nice service and little guy traveled like a champ! He's such a good baby. From there we headed over to Huntington which meant Isaac got to load up his new motorcycle. Check out these ramps. If I took a picture of every not so safe thing he does...I'd need a whole new blog.

Dad was letting little guy try watermelon, but he wasn't so interested. He's 4 months now though so up next, Rice Cereal...Game on. I'm sure we'll get some fun pics, but not quite yet.

Huntington is enough cooler that little guy finally got to wear the sweater Sister Ticshner made him.

Just for the record he pooped all over at church AGAIN~what's with that place, and why wasn't Paula holding him this time? Just kidding. Sunday we went a fun walk down to Grandma and Grandpa Kenworthy's. (And we stopped to check out the pigs)

Sometimes I feel bad for Isaac-anything he says can and will be used against him on the blog :) But he's just funny sometimes. So the other day from the bathroom he says in a pretty concerned voice "Honey, we've got a problem..." and I answer "Oh great now what?" then he tells me "It seems the bathroom has been infested with frogs." And it has, we were trying the real bathtub out instead of the baby bath tub. But truth be told Cannon is not sold on either bath tub he just puts up with it. To which Isaac of course says "Its okay Buddy, she makes me shower more than I want to too."
I don't REALLY feel that bad for Isaac...may the official record whatever or where ever it may be officially state that I am a good wife! As evidenced by the picture below...
Somehow looking for a bike for a kid in our ward, then my bro calling to having him look turned into a new bike for Isaac. He's sure he got a good deal and can sell it later and make a few $$, He says "Honey, part of our savings is in the garage." I don't know but I was okay with it and when I see how excited he gets about it and how fun it is for him I'm happy for him too. He put Cannon on it right away!

This week we scored a TON of old baby clothes Coach Cannon had. Wed. night Isaac had combined YM YW and they were playing water kickball so we strolled on down to the park to watch. I took a ton of "action" pictures but they were ALL horrible so here's just a pic of dad hold'n his little guy. Notice the BYU Utah contrast! Mom likes it! Oh and Cann even caught and errant ball :) it landed right in his lap in the stroller right as we got there.
We played and played with the ANNimal this week. Here she is patting his head, she's getting better about being soft.Friday was great grampa Frei's birthday, I played Betty Baker (I love being home) and we made cinnamon rolls and sent some down then took him some lunch too, and today (Sunday) is Riley's so Saturday we had a party. Total Chaos...and Total Fun.
And a couple more fun pics from the week

Last Sunday night we went visiting, down to my parents I love that, its like what I think Sunday nights are supposed to be like, but with late church we don't actually do it much. Maybe next year! (spoken from a true Cubs fan).
Here's Cann hang'n out with Great Grama and Grampa Frei and Ann in the corner running away from Grampa (with a few of his M&M's that is)
Oh and Ann loves buckles, she was lots of help getting Cannon ready to go. He's not so sure.
At night we have a routine, mostly for my sanity. Its not like the routine always happens but I want it to and it provides a little structure so at night its bath, snackies, and primary songs (however long it takes!) Anyway last Sunday I was sing'n to Cannon and he's just figuring out how he can make noises and stuff but it was like he was just looking into my face and "singing" right back. Not to get all mushy on the blog but it was melt mom's heart cute!
Monday for FHE we went grocery shopping for stuff to make Brazillian food because that's what they were doing for scouts. We come out of the Mexican Market and Isaac said "I like the Mexican Market" Gross! I don't, it smelled like Pee in there. That's exactly what I told Isaac too and he said "No, that was just Cannon." NO IT WASN'T. Tuesday Isaac walked in the door and said "It smells like Brazil in here!" It was a compliment that I had to cook and cook other things to try and get rid of. YIKES. Our kitchen was BLACK everywhere from those dumb black beans -oh and Cannon and I had a little black residue on our clothes as well. I should have taken pictures. Anyway it got a little funny Tuesday night when Isaac got out of the shower, he came in and asked if I'd put salt in the water softener cuz his shower had tasted pretty salty, I said "yeah I used the hole rest of the bag" he said "rest of what bag?" I said "from the pork?" Then his face gets all concerned looking and he says you used water softener salt on the pork?...whoops! Here's how it happened he asked me if we had any rock salt, I said yeah there's a bag in the garage (I guess I didn't say "40lb" because then he would have known what I was talking about but...) As it was he said that he wanted me to put it on the pork chop. I thought it sounded a little weird but we're talking Brazilian food here-its not like they have an FDA (I don't think so anyway) I just said I'd do it, its not like I was going to eat this stuff I had Cookies that night for dinner-super healthy I know, they had oatmeal in'm. Anyway so Isaac got this really concerned look on his face, he had thought we had rock salt for cooking, but then he shrugged and said "Well, if they boys get sick they'll think it was the stomach Theron (one of the other leaders) fed them." So then the next morning Isaac said "my stomach doesn't feel so hot and I didn't eat any of the stomach" And he headed to the computer to Google if softener salt was edible. He didn't really find anything-or he got distracted-could be either, Me I headed to the trash but the bag was deep. So here I was dumpster diving to see if I'd poisoned my husband and his scouts. I was very happy to read on the package "No Chemicals or Additives" phew! He'll be fine-so they might have eaten a little extra dirt, oh well, more authentic right! It was just funny~I love the blog, we now have documented more of our crazy lives.

We tended Ann in the mornings this week. It was fun, she's the ANNimal-good times.
Yesterday we went to the ward Corn Fest, and my cousin Beth's homecoming party. A pretty good week.

Cannon scored this Pooh bear from Aunt Kami when she was tending him. He loves it! Isaac came home and said he had a Pooh bear when he was little too (that they might have had to covertly get rid of) and since Klint couldn't say "Lyndi" when I was little I became "Winnie" and in natural succession "Pooh" So we're pretty much a Winnie the Pooh kind of family :)

And of course Isaac had to let Cannon meet Captain when we were at the Jeffery's.

I love being home with Cannon, I just keep thinking "Don't Blink" He's growing and changing so fast.
We haven't had blog videos for a while and these are aren't good but at least they're video! The Camera is RIGHT by my face so I'm ultra loud~but we're trying to get him to stick his tongue in and out, oh and I snort at the start of one of them...oh well who cares? Cannon's still cute!

I scored some flowers this week :) "And for a good price [free]too" he's so funny~
Last Sunday night Cann Man had an incidental roll over! Really he's been working on it-he goes half way a lot but he got clear over...and then didn't know what to think or do so he just started crying. Cute little kid. We tended my niece Bri, a couple of days this week while her parents went up north, she saw him do it again but I've only seen the once so far. Thursday, when all the teachers went back to work was a pretty great day for me! We kept score at the soccer game that night, that was fun. Still connected, not going back to work. I just kept thinking "I love my life!"
Other than that-Not too exciting. The truck wasn't working on natural gas, the starter on little green went out...Isaac's tore into both of them, the usual with our cars.
Here's a pic of Bri and Cannon, she liked setting him up in the crack of the couch cushions.
Oh yeah, Cannon did get to Cackling a couple times this week, I LOVE IT, its so cute.

It's been a good week, I feel like life is settling in to some sort of normal for us. That's good!
Monday we scored some new silkys (piece of tricot fabric) that Grama made and we cleaned out all of my nieces clothes before the big ward clothing exchange, Tuesday we dropped it all off. Wednesday we scored some hand me down from Riley that Kami has been storing, and I ruined 4 or 5 of them by washing them with the red silkys, dangit, whoops. Oh well. Anyway Thursday was Cann Man's 3 month birthday, we took Nichole up on her offer to be the photographer and cut his hair for the big day! It was pretty fun and very fitting. Matt had offered his mustache trimmer, I should have taken him up on it just for the sake of memories....Ya see, the Sunday before we got engaged Isaac had called me that morning to see if I would cut his hair (I never had before but it needed it and we'd mentioned it) anyway, I didn't answer, so he just had Matt do it, with his Mustache trimmer. Oh Man, it was awful, there were totally lines in his hair, when I reminded him of it he said, "there were?" oh funny. Thankfully Becky fixed up our engagement photos because its not like we had a long engagement with time for it to grow out. Back to Cannon's though it was a fun...
I didn't really get an after picture. Hmm. It looks pretty much the same though-just not as long, the old man ring is still very visible. Oh well.
Friday we went over to Grama's work so say hi and Cannon got to meet Lou, she's so fun! I didn't even know Britt and Ginger were going to be up but they were ~planning Bryces' wedding stuff, ugh shoot me~ Cannon hadn't ever got to meet Britt, that was fun too!! She was impressed with how chill he is, such a good little boy...
MOST of the time. He was a handful for Grama while we went to the temple Sat night. We don't know what got into him.
This morning when I got up Isaac was teaching him how to stick his tongue out, its pretty cute when they play together. Currently Isaac is turning the pages of the Ensign and Cannon whacks it and it makes a silly sound. Again-pretty cute! Isaac was up and at'm this morning and decided we should go for a walk every Sunday morning. We'll see how long that lasts but it was fun this morning.

Some fun things about Cann
-he's getting noisier, just blabs away in the mornings, its fun
-loves to interact with songs (patty cake at what not-with help of course-)
-check'n out how things feel, he was rubbing Isaac's head the other day, pretty cute
-usually gets up once to eat in the night (mostly after 4am so not too bad)
-starting to be a little more interested in toys ~so I'm trying to sway his opinions :)
My favorite Riley hand me down was Riley's shirt from our wedding :) so Cann wore it to church today. I don't think Isaac will go for a photo shoot so ... here's my version of a family picture (plus I'm way skinnier in the wedding pic) The lighting's not the same but, my guys shirts match EXACTLY I promise :).
Poor Cann didn't get a choice on the photo shoot. I put the one with a great smile under the post before this with his 3 month picture.

Was there life before this kid?

I know there was but, it sure doesn't seem like it. He's the best, we're just loving every second and so So happy I'm not going back to work!
Love this grin! One more just cuz I can't get enough of this kid!
