So good to be Home!

Saturday was busy
I didn’t get up for the early morning snorkling trip-
But we all headed to Miami Beach for the air show…
Which was cool but also drug out all day and I stayed up late blogging and when I say I didn’t get up for the early morning trip I really was very much awake…so by the time we were ready to bail on the air show…I’d been “done” for hours!

But we were far from done with this day!!
Tanner…or maybe Seth, probably both really really just wanted to find a coconut and cut it open! (Apparently we really are making lasting memories -Puerto Rico)
So Isaac walked around the neighbor hood and found a coconut tree, knocked on a door and our new friend Juan was happy to make all their dreams come true!

I don’t even have a pic of Seth 🤷‍♀️ but it’s was fun.
That night they went python hunting… I have no pictures and neither do they. They found hundreds of alligators though—
And got home at 3:00 in the morning 😳😳😳

Sunday we went to church-which was good. I mean other than the organ was so loud you probably heard it from wherever you are reading this from. It was just a small branch and Cannon helped pass the sacrament so that was cool! The younger boys got to go to the annex for Primary—which was a new experience too! They have a rented building and they just make it work! Cannon got to go with Isaac to Elders quorum…I can’t remember why-maybe it was WAY hot in their assigned room? Or maybe cuz there was only 2 of them? Anyway last but not least Isaac got invited by and investigator to join with the missionaries in a lesson the next day. He couldn’t turn him down😉 but I was glad and I hope my kids are learning what’s really important!
Monday we hit the beach one last time in the morning.

They went iguana hunting in the afternoon, apparently a sling shot won’t kill them. And we spent all afternoon in the pool! But I was in too so no documentation.
I love coming home from vacation-I always have! So Tuesday was a good day! But highly stressful too since we had a 7:50 AM flight!
But we survived!
I might not have got a picture of Seth with the coconut but he wanted one saying goodbye to the pool and rental car her had so much fun with…ha! Ok buddy!

After we got back to StL we had to hit the zoo…probably because it was so cool last time we went but it wasn’t, it was a ZOO!

So many people and the animals weren’t doing anything cool—oh but they moved the monkeys outside, I guess that was cool, at least it doesn’t stink so bad!! And after that we finally got HOME!!
And by then Addi had broke out in this crazy rash and pretty much everyone was a least a little sick-ugh? The price we pay for playing I guess. At least it’s summer!

But Cannon had basketball camp and we hung out with the Tilton kids and back to baseball. So I think that means summers in full swing…

Oh and back to riding Enzo too!

And a mystery safe…

??? 🤷‍♀️

From baseball to beaches—let summer begin!

I have a millions pics…I’ll try to cut it down…maybe!

We've been busy but we’re having fun!

A pictures supposed to be worth a thousand words but I really like telling stories. (I always say that’s why Isaac is perfect for me—I’m never going to run out of stories!) but I might have to settle for pics…and a few explanations.
All this girl has to do is ask—and he saddles that horse for her! (Pretty much…most of the time!!)

Baseballs opening ceremony…maybe a giant waste of time and out in the heat but Tanner’s coach is the director of the whole shoot’n match and they had a game right after oh and pictures before! Ugh-we went!

Tan ended up of the Facebook page—a friend passed it along!

That afternoon they headed to Kilmers pond—and had a frog catching little boy blast! And sunburns pre-vacation!

You can’t hardly tell between the mud and the frog but Seth is holding the one they named Big Hoppy”

Isaac came in the house and said “who wants to see my new pet bull?” (Obviously I too took the bait! Anything for a pic!) he’d fed it some corn so he could pet him.

And even though I’ve “coached” it I know very little about soccer, but I just think this girl looks pretty good with a ball at her feet!
Getting ready to go shenanigans…and Enzo wondering what we were up to!

Longer story than I have time to tell but after screwing around at the play place we made out gate and flight by less than 20 seconds!! Ugh!! More stress than I can handle!!

We made it!!

And headed for the beach after we we’d grabbed some pizza! Short flight-no connections! I liked it!!

Walmart for food and such—yes that’s another machete-just like Puerto Rico!

And more beach—we’re raising water dogs, they don’t get it from me!

Colt found a sand crab (I actually saw one today but you can be certain I didn’t grab it!)

These guys are quite the shell hunters, (I think they get that from Grandma Ison) but Isaac  didn’t want to lose this one so he had me put on my necklace.)

Tuckered out!

Seth would stay in the pool indefinitely…

These two prefer the beach! And the fact the sun had gone down didn’t bother them a bit!

Airbnb’s are always a little interesting! This one was stocked with…nothing! But whatever enough beds and a kitchen go a long way for a family our size  but still first impression 😳😳😳 and first I wouldn’t touch the wayer but Isaac did a little research  and yeah-before long we were all drinking that yellow stuff that looks like pee!

Yesterday we headed to Everglades National park—we went the back way 😂😂 and it was actually really cool to see some of the agricultural stuff after driving by someone selling drinks like this we didn’t miss it again! It was delicious and very sweet!
Colt gets us in free to the national parks cuz he’s a forth grader but the lady told him to “sign on the clipboard” so that’s what he did—not the card—until later! It was pretty funny but he’s obviously not the only one! They’re fourth graders though!

And from there we went to Key Largo to check out some dolphins!
I have some strong opinion about this racket but…it was pretty cool and we were making memories and the kids loved it so I’ll keep my mouth shut and post the pics!! I was really happy that Isaac pulled the trigger though and they got to do it! They loved it!

More beach

Tonight we went to the temple!
And I love this kid and his smile —I don’t always get it —so this pic makes me super happy!

Addi was Mad MAd MAD! She didn’t get to go in with them—but we found a park and she survived!

They touched the temple while I was inside

And they found a fancy car dealership to entertain themselves too—there were over 20 pics on Isaac’s phone!
I went with a sampling 😉

And after such a long day/week reasonable parents would have put these kids to bed…but not us! They wanted to try out the snorkeling gear and if one got in—they all got in!

So that’s tomorrow’s adventure that I’m not getting in on! 😜
