We had little guy look'n like a missionary at church last week and I didn't even get a picture. Maybe next week. Monday for FHE we went up to the Tischner's and Isaac helped move their chicken coop. We had fun visiting, and checking out all their cool plants. We sampled some herbs and a fig (yuck) and some pistachios.Tuesday we had the sister missionaries over for dinner, then soccer. Wednesday I drove the sisters around Ivins. Thursday Ky was cowboy'n so we had Ann a little extra. Friday we tried for the temple but got shut down for the 2nd time in a row. Thing is...if you get there after 8 there's not much you can do-clean...they asked us if we were there to do that...Nope. Sat we listened to conference and I got a fun call from my old roommate Liz who was in town to watch her bro in law run the marathon (so glad it wasn't us this year). It was SO FUN to meet up with her and show Cann Man off. There's just something about getting to meet up with old friends whether they're my friends or Isaac's, I just love it LOVE IT!Oh there's so much more...but I better go with some pics from the week. Here's Cann riding Ann's stuffed dog. And a few kisses for Mama, dang I love this kid!
Listening to Conference with Dad and Happy at Grama's...before the cereal...

Being a mom just gives me a different perspective on life. I've thought about Bryce a lot this week, I guess that's just what happens at times like this, I know he's fine and free from cares and worries of this world (but really if ya knew Bryce-did he have any cares or worries? Doubtful) but I think a lot about Ginger, that's her little boy...

Monday we went to Tuachan's production of The Little Mermaid. I'm not much of a play person but it was good, I liked it, and seeing all of the stuff Isaac built while he was working there was way fun.

Don't be fooled by the cereal video I posted-that was when it was new, Cannon HATES cereal, and has taught himself how to GAG and get it all out. That cereal everyday thing didn't last long, its more like hmm not worth it tonight. We had fun with Ann Banan like usual, she's into making this squeaking noise when she give Cann kisses, its darling! I love his expression in this pic, he doesn't know what to think. He seems to be temporarily bored with his thumb~could that be because his toe has more flavor? Cute little toad~even if he sucks his toe!
Tues/Wed...or was it Wed/Thurs? I really can't remember but Isaac, Ky, and Chip finally tested out those cement mixer trailer things he bought and had a little project. He loaded it dry one night but then didn't pour it until the next. They did our driveway and chip had a little he needed at his house too. Our driveway looks great! Friday we went down and watched Jordan play football, it was really fun! We stayed at Jayne and Kevin's that night then went to Bryce's Funeral on Sat. It was a nice service! He was a great guy. (I'll have to snag a pic of Bryce off of my mom's computer, just so I have that awesome smile on my blog.) Oh and Brittany did an awesome display of him at the church, it was huge, and awesome, and I guarantee Bryce loved it!
Here's Kamryn and Cannon at the game, then he's with Jordan after. (And sacked out-that was just a power nap though-) I loved both pics and it was such a trip down memory lane to when they were his size. Time flies! And I didn't get a picture of the motorcycle boots Isaac scored from Jordan, I'm sure they'll be plenty of chances for that though, he is wearing them around the house to break'm in.

Sat night I went to the RS broadcast. I LOVE Pres. Uchtdorf! He talked about "forget me not flowers" I'm not much of a flower person (I just know I love Gerber daiseys) but if I would have known about these cute little blue flowers, I totally would have had them at our wedding! Here's the 5 things Pres. Uchtdorf encouraged us not to forget.
*Be patient! (emphasis on being patient with ourselves)*
*Some sacrifices are better than others*
*Be happy now (loved that he tied this one into chocolate)*
*The "WHY" of the Gospel*
*The Lord loves each of us*
The other speakers, I could drum up a general topic...probably... but I was pretty sleepy-whoops Pres Uchtdorf was last so I'd had my power nap(s) and he's a favorite sooo...its probably just a Good thing for me that they print the talks in the ensign :)

Video-cereal...game on

Okay-a little electric truck fun too
The video-it just seems like a normal truck right? But the smile on Isaac's face is the best part!

This one I LOVE, watch it crawl onto the sidewalk then if you listen close you can hear him say "I might need a push"

See ya later 20's Hello 30 (it's not very old right?)

We're having a blast Cannon is moving around like crazy. We love to just lay and play on the floor, he's pretty good to do it by himself, its more fun though if mom will get down there and play with him. He's only 4 months old and I already think things like remember when he'd just lay and let me change his diaper, maybe smile at me, now its I'm going to try and do a back bend and roll over in the middle of the process. They sure don't stay little very long, I'm so SO SO thankful everyday that I get to be home with him! Monday was a fun day-highlighted by driving around the block in the electric truck. It was so funny, reliving every detail as I wrote it out in a letter to Uncle Shawn was pretty fun too.
We try to do a little cereal everyday-that's an adventure-
Tuesday's soccer is pretty late for us, it disrupts our schedule a little bit but its so fun to take him. I'm impressed with how cute some of my former students are with him. I really did love teaching the good kids. Its the knot heads that I could do without, now I just have one GOOD KID that I love the heck out of. I confess I started to read a math book this week though, I think if I'm going to keep my license up I might as well get a higher math certification in the process...but I don't know, a real math class? Those suck unless your the teacher!
Wed and Thurs were good days, the weather's been so nice. Isaac worked on the drive way, Cannon and I are moral support. Friday, the last day of my 2o's, was such a fun day, we just had a little date planned to watch high school football I was excited about it all day, Isaac came home with flowers-Gerber Daisey's my favorite! We ended up taken a babysitter to the football game with us. (Just kidding but it was fun to have Chip along and Cannon fought it for a while but then just slept in his arms-pretty cute.)
My friend Jill was in town and got to meet Cann Man and I got to see how big her little guy is getting. But the day was saddened by the news that Mark and Ginger's son Bryce passed away. It's heartbreaking and slowly sinking in. He was always so funny and happy and screwing around and making people smile and laugh, my favorite memory is of him seeing the neighbor girl and telling us all (in the most convincing Bryce only fashion) that she was definitely his future wife. I'm sure there are some people smiling in heaven on account of his presence, he just has that effect on people. I know it hasn't really hit me yet, but I know I hold Cannon extra close, & I know that the sealing power of the temple is real, and that when we take care of those things here, families are forever!
With that very much on everyone's minds Saturday was as fun as could be expected. We got together and ate Pizza for lunch. That night we grilled hamburgers and watched the Utah (there was no BYU about it) game with Burke and Emily, they're great we had such a good time, it was pretty late for Daph and Cannon though. The bet between Isaac and I was whoever won, Cannon will wear that teams shirt next year. YIKES I better start shopping for red!

Cannon just chill'n watch'n football -in his cowboy boots, after all it was rodeo weekend even if we didn't go-Then 2 cute dads with 2 cute kids. And a family pic!

Monday morning Cannon and I missed out on Isaac's trip down memory lane fishing at Jesse's pond. Bummer-they didn't catch anything anyway.
But we didn't miss out of Isaac snagging this electric truck from his dad.
If your thinking what next...the answer is I don't want to know! Actually his dad was pretty cute about it Isaac was outside and he came in and asked me if I needed him to talk him out of it. I thanked him for the offer but said it really was o.k. we'll see if I end up regretting that or not.
Isaac and Aaron went out on their motorcycles, Isaac climbed Freddy's (Which I have a picture of from our Dune Buggy rides memorial day 2010 but it just doesn't do it justice.) Thankfully I just went on a little ride with him. He told me its hard cuz that bike just wants to pop wheely's. Oh brother!

We had a fun normal week. Tuesday Cannon had to get shots, that's a bummer, and we went down to soccer and such. (Great) Grama and Grandpa stopped by while we were tend'n Ann one of the days. Thursday I watched Cannon roll with a purpose, it was fun. Goodbye immobile days. We hung out with Great Grandma Cottam at our Grama's and made jelly and bread (I'm super domestic- right?) Friday Ky and Ann came up for tinfoil dinners, Ann was tons help fixing the motorcycle. I was super happy he helped me figure out why I was getting blurry pictures-so next time maybe we'll get a good one with Grama Cottam. Sat we hung out with some friends and played games (yes I played) we had a good time.

Oh and today (Sunday) Isaac told me I might be the lucky one to get to drive the electric truck-down to Ann's "cuz its all down hill"...LUCKY ME. I might regret it already...
