Today I ripped one of my favorite skirts-cuz I thought I could fit into it just one more time. WRONG. Whoops-oh well, I guess I'll have to test my skills at sewing it back up, I mean, I did manage to put a button on Isaac suit coat this week!! Or I could use the far more reliable option and take it to my mom...
Today I also made cookies for my VT ladies today-but two of them have dogs so I don't even want to take them. Hmm how bout I report on the rest of the week instead...
Isaac turned 29 on Monday, it was fun that I didn't have to work so we just hung out all day, I ran errands with him. (It was a really good idea...but after so long at the car place waiting for some guy to fix a dent, that he couldn't I wondered how good of an idea) But then we celebrated with .99 cent Big Mac's-and I would have made him anything he wanted for dinner, or we could have went out, as it was we had Totoni's Pizza, and he went to look at a truck with my dad- But we had fun and that's what counts! He got shoes and clothes for little guy that say "Little Helper" on them for his B-day.

Tuesday he went to Emery County again, and actually ended up in Salt Lake and Provo and running all kinds of errands, I just tried to stay busy around here. He came home Thursday, and Friday he had scouts but it got canceled. We talked about going to Phoenix (to buy a truck) or SLC (to a goat conference...well I really would have just gone to the state tournament) but we ended up just staying home, which was nice. We got a lot of rain, that's good, and I watched a lot of basketball this weekend-I love State Tournament time, plus a really good BYU game, it was fun! And we had dinner at my mom's yesterday so today was just kind of a nice peaceful Sunday dinner with each other.
I love to post Pics of Isaac being Isaac, I know they're blurry :( Oh well I was trying to be quick with the phone camera and I didn't really even get it.
Here he just decided the fan needed cleaned. (AND HE WAS RIGHT!)

And here's him helping "organize" receipts and stuff from Grama's taxes. YIKES. The bed still looks like this, plus a few more piles, but the Excel Sheet looks great!

I thought it was kind of funny. Oh and we took Grama C home from my moms yesterday, I was talking to Aunt Kay (total stranger I never see her any more...anyway) Isaac got to playing with Andee's twins, it was so cute I wish I had pictures! When we got in the car he told me he likes them because they are so "sociable" so funny, so cute. Bout it though, all I can think of for right now anyway.

Little Guy's Room

I can't wait until Sunday when I usually post for this...it's too cute!

The 11's are for the year he's coming (and I love that I wore that number too) and I think the I's are so cute too. Little Ison man coming soon! Thanks Brit and Ginger my mom for customizing his crib set!

Another Week!
Sunday I started Indexing, that's been a goal for a while, I need to do some more today-we'll see if it happens. Monday I came home to these:

I love Gerber Daisey's!
And I thought I had a little tradition of getting Isaac a new tie and dress socks for valentines but he just didn't need either so he got Mike'n Ikes.

Isaac left Tuesday for Huntington and stayed until Thursday night. It gets pretty lonely around here without him. But I'm thankful he can go up there and work. I cleaned bathrooms and such. Blah. Oh but my folks stopped by and we rearranged furniture in Little Guy's room, that was fun. Wed we finished up our season playing Pine View, got a clean sweep, that's a good way to end it-except really we've got to get over the hump and get to the state tournament with varsity but that's water under the bridge this year. Thursday we had a little team meeting then I had all afternoon...what do people do with those? I went birthday shopping for Isaac it was fun! Then that night I hit the previously posted about cow. Here's the image in my mind as he flew up and on to the other side of the road. Except it was a dark, just an up-ended calf rotating through the air. YIKES

And tough Little Green-all she had to show for it was the manure

(admittedly a synonym for the word I said as I looked up and realized I was hitting that little sucker one way or another-whoops) Thank Heaven for her Sleek, low to the ground, (possibly a slider) design. Ky thinks she needs a sticker that says "Little Green, Calf Killing Machine" That's a little gross for me though. I felt bad for the little cuss but was just so thankful me and little guy were safe and sound.
At stake conf these weekend one of the speakers what talking about daily little things that help you know Heavenly Father is mindful of you...this was a BIG THING! But I do need to do a better job of being mindful of all the little things!

Friday we watched my boys team play-sat right in the middle of the Juan Diego parents which were pretty entertaining as well as the game. And Sat. for the first time in who knows how long we just spent all day hang'n out together-it was fun. We went to lunch with my folks, stopped by grama and grampa's and puttered around until stake conference. Isaac was hysterical, there was a little girl who needed her diaper changed-we committed to be more responsible parents because both of us were just gagging. Anyway he leaned over and asked me if I'd been farting (what a punk) then later he asked me if I was sure, then he sat up real straight "so they'd for sure know they have plenty of room to get by when taking her out" every time he said anything I was just bust'n up laughing (and trying to be reverent) then much much much too late when her dad finally did take her out she launched some spit up in Isaac's direction (he skillfully dodged it though) but when we were headed out to the car he said "Man, that little girl had it out for me!" Oh it was just funny. It seems like he had me laughing at stake conf this morning too but I can't remember and this post is probably long enough.

HOLY COW

YIKES, I seriously just hit a cow in little green! Ok it was a calf but still, I'm just waiting for Isaac to get home to tell him about it (the phone call wasn't good enough) and tough little green-only cow manure and a bent license plate. The little calf-not near so lucky. I amazed that so much just happened...and so little. SO SO BLESSED. Yikes. Heart Rate still recovering...

Posting pictures of myself is probably not my favorite thing but here's the Coach Ison version of what I've been making for my kids. The sweater hides my belly pretty good but make no mistake, my arm is resting on little guy.

This week has been another busy week, I told Isaac as we were crawling into bed one of the nights good thing I blog-cuz the normal Journal’s been hit and miss.
Monday- We watched a few Mormon messages clips for FHE, but I can’t remember much else…Isaac’s got a plan for us to start studying the first few chapters of the Handbook for FHE. I’ll have to report on our progress.
Tuesday we played at Canyon View and it was 11:00 before I got home, Isaac was asleep. My freshman played horrible, I had a lot of sick kids though and we somehow snuck out a win. Everyone but varsity won. Thursday it was everyone but Freshman won at Hurricane, it was a bummer for my kids but I hope we learn from it, and again another night of coming home when Isaac is asleep. Not my favorite thing. Oh and I guess that day everyone except me had family dinner at my mom’s house. Isaac won big points when my mom came home from picking up pizza and he was vacuuming her floor, of course he didn’t tell me about that, she did the next day in an email. She was super impressed.
Wed was the worst day of being pregnant so far! Oh my goodness I thought I was going to die if little guy didn’t get his foot out of my ribs, but later he started moving around like crazy-as if to say “Mom, it’s not me!” and finally, after Isaac asked me several times I did remember hurting myself at basketball (I really am to Prego to be playing defense-but I needed someone to double down in the post…) I was just too busy with practice to realize I really was hurt. That night though, there was little to no comfort sitting, laying, walking, breathing…anything, I was pretty much toast. Thankfully it didn’t last too long, the next day was bearable-sort of-and by the weekend it was just little hints of what it had been. THANK HEAVEN!
Friday we had dinner and hung out with Phillip and Cindy, Allison and Steve were down (for some conference or something) but I really like them and it was fun to visit! Yesterday morning Isaac had meetings but apparently it wasn’t really so much a leadership meeting as an anyone meeting, I should have went with him. Instead I went to the grocery store- He was going to go riding with his cousins but they ended up not going, I waited until he went over there to go into school, it was a totally unproductive trip to school. I worked on Saturday and I’m not one bit ahead…or even caught up for that matter. Whatever! It was “Lots of Love” ward Temple night so we went to that, the rest of the night was pretty much a bummer though.

Monday for family home evening we went and visited Brother Birks, he's a funny guy, we like him. His wife is in the hospital and they won't let him see her until he's not sick anymore, we need to go visit his wife too but one thing at a time I guess. We took him some dinner but he'd already eat'n but he called the next day to thank us again and tell me it was good.
Tuesday we swept Dixie! Heck ya! I was so proud of my kids, their freshman hadn't lost...but now they have! I loved it.
Wednesday Isaac had scouts and by time I got home he was on his way out the door so I just made dinner and messed around with the basketball pictures, I'm trying to make a collage for each of my players, its a fun little project. (That I may or may not actually have time for-OH WELL)
Thursday we played Snow Canyon, its weird to coach against some of my best friends from high school's little sisters and hear the parents in the stands yelling at the officials and stuff but... its fine too. We all won except JV-that (varsity win) was a huge win for our program, we've never beat them.
By Friday I'm just SO TIRED I don't know what way is up. I came home and had a much needed nap (especially after early morning practice) that night my mom sent my dad up with a casserole that "needed use'n" she didn't come because she'd been sick but we had a good time visiting with him.
Saturday Isaac worked at the Data Center and I headed back to work as well, between basketball games and Dr. appointments and blood work and whatever else I don't feel like I ever have a prep, so I got a little closer to caught up. Then we just had a fun afternoon together, grabbed durango salads for dinner, went to the temple and then had ice cream when we got home, I love treats! Busy-like always-but a good week.
Today we went to our sacrament meeting then slipped over to Matt and Nichole's they blessed Lilah today and Isaac got to stand in the circle. It was fun to see Marcie and Ryan there too. Then we ate dinner with Grama and Grampa Frei, they loved Isaac's crock pot creation, and getting to spend time with us-and we did too.
