I love it when my two guys are asleep in the chair, I just think its cute. (And they do it a lot!)

This week we discovered the beauty of the swing! AND I almost caught a grin on camera!

Monday Grama was tending Ann so we went for a little walk/off road'n. We were hoping the dike along the base of the Red Mountain would tie in with the walking trail-it didn't work out for us.

Tuesday we went down to school for teacher check out, I was think'n students were gone. WHOOPS, they weren't! So we went back again Wed. Tuesday we had a big day I don't remember what all we did-we went and visited Great Grama and Grampa Frei, swung by SC's graduation for our Sunday School kids, hit the grocery store, who knows what else??? but I know we were out and about all day. Cannon was a champ and slept through most of it-I just got tired!
Wed Cann was 3 weeks!
Time is flying on us! I love being a mom! My world is of course totally different...5:00 used to mean I got up and read the good book before work, now it means "Isaac if he starts yell'n again will you get him?" (I'm thankful he takes the early morning shift.) and we hope we remember scriptures later in the day-sometimes we do-sometimes we don't. Aunt Kay challenged us to memorize The Living Christ document-so we work on that sometimes too and call it good :)
Thurs we ventured out to open gym-again, little guy was a champ. Friday he got to meet Aunt Jayne and Kamryn. Here he is all snuggled up to Aunt Jayne on Sat. while Isaac was helping Chip cut cows. He also tried a bottle for the first time Sat.

Isaac said "See that, I'm moving up the ladder" it was funny.
And here he is all ready for church...and rock'n his moccasins :) . The "church grandma's" just love him! He slept in Reva's lap all through Sacrament meeting.

This is just a little phone video I meant to upload last week but his little legs were just going so hard I had to laugh...and hope he didn't really take off :) I should have a few months right?

The king of our bed...

Isaac said "Look at him, lay'n here like he owns the place"
Sometimes I worry about spoil'n him but then I just think "Na" and like to think of that Billy Dean Song "Let'm cry, let'm fiddle, let'm sleep in the middle...let them be little."
The one thing Cannon does that consistently reminds me of me (most everything reminds me of Isaac) is sleep with at least one hand above his head -maybe all kids do but I wouldn't know- I just know that's how I like to sleep. And I just like the other pic.

On Monday the Basketball Girls threw me and Cannon a shower, it was so fun to be around them again and...it was a BLAST. I'm not usually one for games but we were crack'n up. A race feeding each other baby food...and play dough baby modeling, oh and I found out I suck at nursery rhymes-oh well. It was fun, and of course we totally got spoiled.

As for this week's phone pics...
I'm getting to where I recognize the faces he pulls when he's work'n on a project...and what I get for trying to take a picture of my kid while he's working on a poop project....Pooped on...A LOT

I laughed and of course took a picture but I'll spare ya that one, it was gross~
Served me right! And it was a MESS. Now for the normal ones...

We love him! We're just love'n the life these days. (Expect the long LONG days Isaac puts in at Tuachan. But at least its work and at least he's here!)

Monday Cannon was 5 days old and we had a Dr. appt. He'd gained more than a 1/2 a pound and grown a 1/2 inch. We have ourselves a good little eater!
Thursday Isaac cut himself across the stomach at work when a grinder bound up and flipped out of his hand. I'll spare ya the pic since I've got things all messed up trying to put lots of pictures close together in this post but 14 stitches later...it's pretty nasty.
There's a lot going on right now-including a probable move to Emery County for the summer...we'll see what happens.
So we spend our days eating and sleeping and me taking pics of him on my phone. When he cries I hold him... When I cry he holds me-it's a good little arrangement we have. Here's a few of the phone pics... There's really tons more... and occasionally we get out the good camera too. Oh and yesterday my good friend Lindsay came and took some baby pics of him too. He didn't particularly dig the photo shoot but he was still a trooper.

Best Week of my Life!

Monday-still no little guy. So my mom and I had a bonus day off.
Tuesday May 3rd, worst day of my life! But by Wed May 4th at 2:34 BEST day of my life and nothing else mattered!
For (essentially) sailing through pregnancy actually getting out little guy here had plenty of hiccups. I swear I had to hear 15 times from the Dr. "Well, we usually wouldn't do this... We don't normally... We're going to have to try..." Ug everything was unusual and out of the ordinary. Little Guy's heart rate would drop. A C-section was all of the sudden a very real possibility. (But thankfully we got him here without it) More and more people just kept coming into the room in case we needed them (nicu and such) Yikes but he made it and all is well. So here are some pics!
Dad hold'n him in the delivery room (his hands look just like Isaac's) and our First Family pics. The hospital isn't my favorite place to be but we made the most of it when Isaac would crawl in bed with my and we'd just hold him.

Headed Home

My mom has saved me! She's just take'n care of us and coached me up a little on this whole be'n a mom thing. Oh and she kind of like's him too. I'm SO THANKFUL for her help.

Grama and Grampa Ison and Uncle Shawn came to visit Friday night, and left Saturday afternoon. Isaac planted me some rose bushes for mothers day that night but really, the best mothers day present ever came early Wednesday morning.

Here's just a couple more pics I like.
When dad's hair looks like this we cut it. Then just sleep'n.

Oh we just love him-such a blessing!

No Little Guy yet... we'll see what the day holds though-Everyone asks me about contractions and such I don't know much-I know we're getting closer though. Not that it was a contraction but I was sitting by Isaac on the couch this morning and Little Guy started moving like CRAZY! Most ever. I said "Tell me you can feel that?" He said "You elbowing me?" I said "I had nothing to do with that! That was all Little Guy" and shortly after that pounding I went in the other room and laid down.
Anyway-this week...
Monday I didn't have to work and neither did my mom. That meant our house got a little make-over, it was great. Little Guy's room is ready to go, and SO CUTE! even if I do say so myself. We (we really means my mom while I sat and watched) but "we" moved out some cluttering furniture, changed the bed spread, hung the picture of the Savior, and the vinyl lettering Klint and Caroline gave us, and put away his clothes and stuff. In the front room we rearranged out sectional couch so it just goes along one wall now and brought up a recliner rocker from her house for us to borrow. I had a little nap and woke up to her cleaning my front window, the porch was swept, the microwave cleaned out-you name it, she was work'n her tail off. Me...just relax'n... and embarrassed all of that stuff needed done but still SUPER grateful! Chip didn't escape this project on his day off either, he was the furniture mover and she even roped him into putting a new faucet in our bathroom (he hates "playing plumber") but he did a good job, we're thankful and it's nice! That night we had Bro. Tischner over for dinner, it was fun. We love the Tischners. His wife was out of town seeing a new great grand-baby.
Tuesday-work, but thank goodness for "Sub-able" lesson plans, really I had a pretty good week. (Not to mention my Summer has started :) Such a happy thought. Isaac worked way late that night and I caught a little bit of a 12 yr old softball game. The little girl in our ward is the pitcher and she's a gamer! 12 yr olds can't touch her unless she throws'm a change up or they bunt. It was fun talking to her parents. They're all about it!
Wed was another shower and Aunt Kay was at her best! She had asked me a couple of days before if Little Guy could just be Cannon-even if it was just for the shower, I said "Sure" Of course she went all out. The back of the little Cannon candy bars says "Product of Isaac and Lyndi Ison 2011" So Cute!

It was a blast and me and Little Guy got spoiled again! It was fun to see everyone and visit.
Thursday I don't remember much, I think Isaac worked way late again. Friday was my last day of school-weird- but very exciting, Isaac took me to work that day so there wasn't any vehicle in my spot that threw a lot of people off but really I was still there.
Yesterday Isaac had to work, then he's been dealing with the Goat thing...YES, he's really the brains behind getting a guy to bring down 350 goats to eat a fire break. Or something like that. After work he was dealing with hauling water for the goats, he had to do it again this morning. All I know is its long days and I don't get to see him very much. I've just been trying to get things ready around here. I want all the laundry done-too bad for me laundry never ends. I've had a plenty of little projects to keep me busy though and when I get to bored I go to my folks house and watch ball games (that's what I did yesterday anyway) Bout it. Hopefully more to post soon!!!
