It’s Utah time of year!
I love that my kids saw those red rocks -then white rocks-dropping into Grand  Junction and grabbed my phone to take a pic! They knew we were getting close. Cann was tempted to pull over at the Utah sign but instead he found one online 😉

But I better start in order. The boys were back from camping before Addi even woke up Saturday -and Isaac cooked breakfast at home. We rode bikes down at the schools and the mulberries are getting ripe!

Sunday (no getting ready miracles this week) but the afternoons when it’s beautiful like this—we love to get outside!

Monday I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast with the leftover stuff I had out from the youth bake sale so we called Craig and he came over. It’s always fun to visit with him. Isaac was picking his brain a little bit.

Cannon had his motorcycle out (warming it up for Utah 😉)

And we headed to the lake that night! Cann pulled the boat! (Kinda freaks me out but if he learns to do it I won’t have to—that’s a win so… hurry up and learn Cann)

The waters getting better and better we all had fun surfing and you can’t tell from the mediocre pic I got of Cann but we took these little volleyballs we have and played catch with the person surfing—it was pretty dang fun!

It was Memorial Day so way busier than normal but we still outlasted most other boats. Tuesday Isaac worked in the temple and I took all five kids down to Columbia so Colt could  get his braces.

While we were there, we got a call from the courts that the judge let me off jury duty! So that meant we were headed to Utah Wednesday! Thank you your honor! (Poor Colt kinda rough traveling)

We hit a couple stores while we were down there-these kids love mannequins. I think they touched everyone in that store! (Oh and Seth and Addi were driving Tanner crazy-fairly easy to do, and common for that matter-but Tanner talked Addi into “try meditating” it was hilarious!

Then we just had to get ready to go!

We made a few stops on the way-Isaac and his Facebook shopping! Actually that guy has been living his best life dreaming up business ideas (and sometimes he bounces from idea to idea pretty quickly!) -he loves it-for me…I’m thankful for the job he has that pays the bills (and funds his other projects…I just mean why they get of the ground 😉 IF he ends up going with any of these ideas)

He bought a wire tie’r…and…this!

We’ll pick it up on our way back through KC. It was at a downtown industrial park-oh it smelled terrible,  then we stopped at a KFC so Colt could get mashed potatoes…it had 3.1 stars on Google…that was probably a generous rating. Remembering our feet sticking to the floor. 🤮🤮

Cannon helped drive!!  He definitely got better as we went along and we were pulling the “van trailer” with those motorcycles so…baptism by fire in the driving world right?!

And we had a built in play place for every stop.

Most importantly we made it!!! Let the good times roll!

Hikes-motorcycles-cousin time with Aliyah and Sadie.

Let’s Go—So much fun!!

I think that’s about it.

Schools out!

Saturday we rode over to Rizzy’s (it was so fun we did it again today)

And with now soccer we had the motorcycles out!

Seth when to Oakley’s birthday party (it was totally a princess party but so many people Hayley had invited were gone because there’s some home school conference so she was scrambling for participants and rounded up a few boys) Seth got to decorate a tie but he also got in on the hat fun too. Cannon told him what he though of that but…look who was wearing it.🤣

Sunday! While we had our share of fights Sunday after church Sunday morning was a miracle!!!! Isaac had to speak in Hannibal and he didn’t take anyone with him but these kids were all dressed and ready for church 15 minutes early-no fights! I was awesome! I tried and tried to think of what was different and why—I want to replicate this!!! I  haven’t  come  up with anything but…it’s was this little taste of what’s possible and I loved it!

Then of course we got out on a walk-it’s too beautiful outside right now not to. This  girls keeping up with her brothers on her own “motorcycle”!

Monday goofs!

But they were having fun and they were outside so I’ll call it a win!

Tuesday we had Isaac’s logging buddy and his wife over. They were super nice.  No pics but I cooked and my people survived me being all wound up about company so we’ll call it a win.

It was Isaac’s turn on Addi’s school paper!

Wednesday was Addi’s last day of school. We’ve loved having Ma Angel!

Wednesday the Youth we getting ready for their big yard sale-they’re raising money for a trip to Branson (we’re going to be in Utah) but they were troopers even though the didn’t want to go…

Little did they/I know how much fun they’d have shopping at the yard sale. I probably should’ve made a collage but—they had a blast.

Last day stuff. The Newlands are so fun and invited to their schools out party.

Then just park fun—

We’ve been working on the pedal bike. She can totally do it she just doesn’t like to.

She’d rather ride that little pink “motorcycle” she got so mad at me for taking the pic above,  I let her take a pic of me riding it to prove it’s not so bad. 😂

Tonight Isaac and the boys are off camping. It’s not officially Fathers and Sons but…it kinda seemed that way so me and Add stayed here. Totally my preference  maybe not hers…we had fun though.
I finally talked her into trying on the Easter dress Grama made for her. Baby steps. I think it’s cute! And it twirls pretty good!
Bout it. I’m trying to decide if I’m ambitious enough to make cinnamon rolls again tomorrow morning for the bake sale that goes along with the yard sale.. I did today…they sold really fast but…it’s kindof a lot of work.
