Another week

Where did September go??
Saturday we planted the rest of my tulips. Cann ran the skid steer Addi chilled in the swing and the other boys built armour. And I guess that leaves Isaac and I as the planters. It went a lot quicker once we ditched the garden shovels and he used a regular shovel and I put the bulbs in.

We ended up vetoing that black plastic but hopefully we’ll put it back next spring…??? And hopefully we’ll have a rock’n red tulip garden too.
That afternoon Isaac headed for Nauvoo for an awesome mtg with Pres Cordon and President Lund from the general YM YW presidencies. We survived. Which is a win.
The Pettit’s came and hung out with us
Until it was time to go to Cannons gane.  Which was not a win๐Ÿ˜ they got creamed and I felt like I got creamed too.
5 kids
1 parent
Ug
And we had had to have Cannon there an hour early. So you can bet we had pizza for dinner in attempt to make life easier.
Sunday was the primary program. Cannon’s last one! Crazy huh? I didn’t record them doing their parts because…I forgot!!—because there are too many of them -and their 1 line parts were…good but I know my kids are capable of much much more! You could tell that we had practiced though so that made me happy. And  it was mostly a singing program-which is awesome I think the kids really learn doctrine through the music so I like all the songs! And they knew them well.
Cann will totally hold Addi… if I’ll make “good kind” of pop corn. And Colt has his nose in a book any chance he gets-just thought I’d snag an accurate pic.

Look at this big shot sitting up in the grocery cart. (Note her brothers grin in the corner too) how is she this big????

What else?
Equipment in bed-why not? He was coaching her up on how to put it in reverse. ๐Ÿ˜Š and maybe we tied that balloon to her leg just to watch her giggle. Grama had seen in on the internet and it sounded fun.

Tanner lost a tooth!

School spirit days for homecoming week-we had some crazy hair too.

Sister Wheeler and Stoddartv-the boys have fun with these two and I’m glad.

The weather has been beautiful and my allergies have slowed down  so we’ve been able to get outside. Good times!!

Homecoming parade today.
Tanner and Cannon both rode on the youth football floats. But I didn’t get good pics. Colt-no way, not after last years fiasco not getting picked up.
Cannon and I went to the football game tonight.
More next week๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Fridays might kill us all…
Seth loves preschool and usually starts asking if it’s time to go around 8:30-Addi and I kinda like the 2.5 hour quiet (hopefully nap) time but no preschool on Fridays so it a long day!
But let’s go back to Saturday Isaac and Cannon took care of breakfast cuz it was my birthday. Cannon was in charge of the muffins! Isaac did the eggs!
They we’re delicious. Later in the day Seth realized we didn’t do a birthday cake and then he said “oh yeah-muffins”  ๐Ÿ˜Š it was  pretty cute.
They wiggled that “massive” engine into the barn. Cannons a pretty good little operator. I didn’t see the getting it in process I just walked out and saw how much room he had to get it out-not much! But Isaac guided him and he slipped right out of there in no time.

And they played with the wild black walnuts all weekend (more on Sunday) but below Tanner is throwing the tennis racket at the tree trying to knock more out.

They had a blast but pretty much ruined what they were wearing and after Sunday everyone of them had nasty stained hands (and knees) that just look SO DIRTY no matter how many times you wash them (and no matter how many dumb tricks we looked up of the internet-none of them work)
Saturday evening Cann had football but we lost light quick so all I got was a pic of warm ups

Well and a pic of him with his biggest fan. Her little onsie has a #80 on the back but…I guess your just going to have to trust me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sunday we (well I) watched the others ward’s primary program but just on zoom. Tanner's teacher went but didn’t realize Tanner wasn’t in it. (Probably my fault for how I made the invite video. Whoops. We love her though-such a sweetheart! Isaac ended up going and sitting with her and her husband.

Monday an Amazon box I didn’t know about showed up (the other Amazon box I accidentally had shipped to Grama Nettes ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผ‍♀️ Whoops) but Isaac bought me 100 tulip bulbs for my birthday! I was pumped! The celebrater hater might be softening! I love tulips and particularly red ones for Rizzy. The only problem is-so do the deer. But we decided what the heck-we think Riz would like the deer coming around so we planted some deer food at Rizzy’s grave. Isaac said we “might put up a battery powered electric fence”

We’ll see. But the rest we’ll plant here at the house.
Oh that led to the tiller project because one of the Utah trips we brought home Isaac’s mom’s tiller.

But after all that tinkering to no avail he was feeling a little defeated. Bummer.
Then just random us:
This kid only showers to play around and get drinks-at least he showers! …and reads to his Sister.

She’s getting to where she rolls pretty well and doesn’t stay where you set he down. The best is when she smiles at me though-melts my heart every time. And she really is a good natured and happy baby!

Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 80 degrees but it wasn’t tonight so we bundled up for the last flag football games

Colt endures football (barely) Tanner says he loves it-I get so annoyed with the “coaches” seriously they shouldn’t even be called that when they are throwing 6/7 year old 40 yard passes like it’s their one chance to be Steve Young. Its ridiculous! But I bite my tongue. Cannon just plays football with all the other siblings that are their to “watch” but
Oh and I went to a meeting for Tanners basketball this week…he says he wants to play again but…I’m not so sure playing up is the best thing for him and his team is pretty serious, like some of them have forgotten it’s not the nba-just 6/7 year olds playing basketball. Who knows.
But I’m falling asleep so game over.

Another busy week-it’s kinda just what we do!
I went to an hour or so of the stake womens conference but I left early and we headed for home. Cannon had football so I brought him and  I worked concessions then Isaac brought the rest of the troops. But really I didn’t get to see much. Sunday the talks were super good and we survived the day. Barely๐Ÿคฃ

Isaac bought a new welder this week. And an extra helmet so the boys can learn. Yesterday they tried it out.
I solved my first rubix cube…but I’m kinda stuck with one piece the way it’s mixed up right now…I’ll get it though!

When I said no he couldn’t  pick Addi’s bow he decided to wear it himself. Knucklehead!

What else? We went to the park with some friends Wednesday before preschool and decided we should have a video to invite people to the primary program.  Well…the first words program is THIS Sunday so that meant we had to hurry but we threw the something together and it was pretty fun it turned out far from perfect but still pretty cute.

Oh I know what else we did this week we took Addi and Colton to Dr. Tilton for well checks but it was really great to have a Dr we know-so sorry Matt but your probably going to have to take care of all of us now until you retire or we move ๐Ÿ˜‚

I made cookies for a teacher appreciation thing at Colts school-I had good help!

School art projects!

The constant plea

Translation. “Answer mom. Can we do tablets I love you please. From Tanner to mom”
And Seth had this girl belly laughing-it was so cute.

I should’ve had a video-well I tried but-at least I got a cute pic.
Tanner and Colt had football tonight. Isaac and Seth rented the Home Depot truck and went to Columbia to get the motor that used to be in the Golden Goose???? Seth was so cute telling me “that thing is ‘Massive’”
And I got this loot of groceries/goodies for my birthday it was a fun little (well big the box was massive -like the motor๐Ÿคฃ- ) surprise to find on my way out to pick up kids. Sweet!

I’m about to fall asleep so I guess I’m going to call it good.

This weekend we’re in Nauvoo again so we missed flag football tonight-I was super excited that Tanner cared!!! Colt—couldn’t care less but that’s nothing new. He pulled a few flags and scores a touchdown last week though (I missed it Cannon and I had already gone to the HS game…we didn’t leave very early but whoops) he did enjoy playing with the 3rd graders a lot more though so that was good.

Big (gest) brother trying to use his influence….๐Ÿค” but he’s also one that like her in the poofy dresses

Look at her sick little eyes ๐Ÿ˜ข

I wondered if we should even try to go to church but when Isaac text and said he’d forgot the bread so I figured we’d better just go for it.
No school Monday (but Cannon had football so it was the perfect day for him.) But  those sick eyes were the start of a rough week. Isaac was  nigh on to dead. Colt didn’t go to school Tuesday. Wednesday Seth came home from school early. I was afraid he was going to be down for days like Isaac, but I left him sleeping and when I got back he was outside running around like a crazy man that nothing had ever been wrong with. Who knows? A little Tylenol and a nap magic I guess. I was worried about Tanner Thursday but he seemed to sleep it off.
Addi turned 4 months! How’s this for the only 2 four months pics I took ๐Ÿ˜‚

These two always have a project…and this kid has tracked grease all over my house.

School pics and football pics for this kid this week.

We have some sweet friends here who’s daughter passed away in August. We wanted to stop by on our way to Nauvoo  so I made some flash cookies (cuz my dad and Grandpa loved those a Jack is a tough old cowboy-so I figured he would like them too.) and bread. We could’ve gone empty handed but I just wanted something  to show we were thinking about them and love them.
But really today was pretty dang rough.
