This week's a little on the boring side--too much like a journal entry--but I guess that's why I do this so I'm going with it:
When we were visiting last Sunday Bubba waved goodbye to grampa (my dad). So that's his new trick, its pretty cute. Saturday when we swung by Grama and Grampa Frei's (my grandparents) he and grampa where waving back and forth-pretty dang cute.
He'd been getting up every 2 hours. NOT FUN and pretty frustrating, but then after two nights of that he slept a little better but sounded like he had a sore throat when he was babbling away, so he was probably sick and that was why he was up so much, and me, I was oblivious....mother of the year right? Bummer.
So Monday...
Every time I have a headache that's bad I think "I don't know what a migraine is, but this has got to be close." After Monday I'm sure I figured it out. Oh my heck! I was just cruising along being super productive (I love that) seriously, lunch for Isaac, breakfast, 3 batches of laundry and 2 batches of cookies and it was barely 9:00 I had a big ole "to do" list and I was kick'n tail on it. Then all of the sudden. GAME OVER, it was like a brain freeze headache that is so sharp and piercing and you just hope it will go away, but it didn't! It was awful! I finally even called my mom to see if she could come get the baby because I was useless. She didn't answer so I just laid on the floor (and moaned okay I'm such a wimp but I was miserable and I didn't know what to do) and Bubba played in our dresser. Emptied out all kinds of drawers and I was just so grateful he was content. I drifted off (I know, again, parent of the year right I probably shouldn't admit things like this) but it finally broke a little bit after falling asleep but seriously an hour and a half plus of a brain freeze headache. NO THANKS! Anyway even by practice time I wasn't feeling awesome but slowly it went away and I was fine. Random. Weird. Pretty much hoping it was a one time thing!
Tuesday we played at Canyon View, the bball was just about as ugly as my headache the day before. Soph's one in OT J.V. by one and Varsity got beat. UG it was...UG. It was fun to see Coach Potter and his family though. His wife (Misty I thing~is that awful I'm not even sure) tended for me during the varsity game. It just kind of weird, I'm happy for him but it just seems like "Hey, you're coaching for the wrong team dude." I like the association and friendships you build coaching. Wednesday Kami went back to work and I tended all 3 kids. 2 kids, 2 arms... doable. 3? People do this and live to tell about it? YIKES Then I think of my excuses like "they're all under 2 yrs old" but one of my bball players sister just had twins and her little girl isn't two yet, so lucky for me its only 1.5 hours. It's life for my players sister! Thursday it was so windy so we ended up just going to the church and played inside. It was actually Super fun. When we got in the car Ann of course wanted "Papa...Cows" but then when I saw her Friday she said "Hoop" first thing. I loved that. Thurs was a better day of basketball (Since we got the sweep at Hurr. Varsity won in dramatic fashion but a wins a win, it was good for us.)
Friday we made a little date night out of the boys game and went to dinner, then Saturday morning Uncle Will took us to breakfast, we had a good time it was fun to visit and breakfast was delicious (and 2 meals in a row, it was a fun break from cooking for me!) We worked on Isaac's grad school applications pretty much the rest of the day but it was a fun day to just relax and be home (I sure wish the messes would have cleaned themselves but they didn't, so there they are waiting for me~oh well) Sunday was just a good day, church was just good, one of those days when you hear what you need to hear, then a nap :) :) :) I loved that. We steered clear of my folk's house because Chip has been sick but visited Grama Cottam and Grama and Grampa Frei. It was fun.

All week and all I can really do is look back and say its really already over? WOW! The only new things I remember Cannon doing (Ok besides proudly pulling himself up to any and everything) are sticking his tongue out, its pretty cute, and grunting continuously when he wants something. That might be cute/might be annoying. I tried to feed him more/different food~he thinks its poison, especially vegetables. Funny guy. I look a little video of him scooting because I was sure we'd seen the last of it, he was going to take off crawling, but then he didn't. AND I was so excited about him throwing the ball last week. It wasn't near as cute when it was at church or later in the week when I gave him a cracker and he threw it then clapped! Oh well, you win some you lose some I guess.
Cannon and I started thinking about and shopping for Isaac's birthday~I love things like that, it was fun. And Uncle Ky found us a little hook up on and engraving machine, (ahhh I'm a hoarder too) I'll have to explain more later but its just more junk in my garage (maybe I'm going to have to get off his back about the gumball machine) but I was really excited about it, I thought it sounded like a fun hobby. I started making Bubba a quiet book. Maybe I'll finish it before he's 5. Maybe. But I like having the project, its fun.
Here's the little wild man just trying to get outside! (We took a few more cute pics but they're on Grama's camera.)

Cann snagged this little ball from Trey and he was riding his little CAT machine with his arm up all cocked ready to throw it. (Talk about making mom proud!) But I couldn't quite get the picture I was after.
Not as much of a picture overload this week but we did get the new blog header pic back from Annie! I was pretty excited about it! This week has been a whirlwind (and it was even our bye week for basketball) anyway Cann Man's been up to some fun stuff ~like usual. He pulled himself up to the folding chair, then played it like a drum-so proud of himself. Its a phone pic but you get the idea...blurry or not. After our little play date I decided maybe I should put shoes on him, all the other kids had shoes on, he hated that! He tried to kick them off then when I put him down on his tummy he was chasing them (Like a dog chases its tail) trying to reach them and pull them off. I gave in after just a few minutes, poor little guy was miserable with those things on. He's also been exploring his little teeth hitting against each other as he clenches his jaw, I thought it was random and cute Thursday and Friday it was more like "Oh dang, there's another tooth!" So maybe that's what it was about. But he's still doing it a ton, he looks so mad when he does it which doesn't fit his personality at all so it makes it extra funny.
He played so good with with Trey and Grama, and is warming up to Grampa -didn't want him out of his sight- one of the days.
Us? Isaac's busy at work and seems to be loving teaching Econ. I'm manage to stay plenty busy these days too, our house gets neglected that's just the breaks! For example right now I could be cleaning bathrooms but I picked blogging :) Way more fun!

Picture Overload... I love every bit of it :) Maybe I'm one of those "Mommy Bloggers" that make ya want to gag~I'm over it.

Isaac took Bubba to Priesthood with him, Ava was with her dad too because her mom was teaching. The report was they were so cute together and having fun...until she just couldn't resist this guys cute little cheeks and bit him. I thought an old lady with lipstick had got him. He wishes! Poor little guy, I like they one in the tie cuz it was at church and his little eyes just look sad. Trying to get another picture after was tough because he just kept turning his head~and smiling of course, the cute little turkey!
Monday Grama tended while I went to the temple, it was just a quick little trip by myself but SO NICE! I love the temple!
They went down to visit Great Grama Cottam and Aunt Kay, and Cannon showed off that he is "SO BIG!" I love it when he does this! He's getting to where he'll do it more and more and clap a little when prodded. It's fun.
Tuesday we got to meet up with Ang and Linds, that is always so fun. Mason missed out on the fun we snagged a pic with Angie's kids. Connecticut just really is too far away! They are so cute and getting so big so fast!
We hit the park a few times this week, that was fun, and more basketball??? ALWAYS! These girls are SO CUTE with him and he LOVES LOVES LOVES all the attention they give him.

Dad being 6'5" is pretty cool too. Cannon and I don't get enough hoop in so we went to watch the young men too :)
Saturday we had a fun little play date with Nichole (Lilah) Leane (Ted) and Claudia (Ryder) it was fun and crazy just how we've gone from pretty much the same spot in life, hang'n out in the singles ward, to the same spot in life hang'n out with these cute little kids. I'm pretty sure we won the bald award, Ryder doesn't have a ton of hair but he had a hat on. Part of me wanted to post all of the pics just to relive the chaos one frame at a time -I wouldn't really have-but then Leane sent me a video...DONE. Isaac was so funny after watching it he was like "How much older is Ted?...He's just so much quicker....Cannon's going to have to get stronger..." And so on. It was funny.

Ok and here are a few favorites. Lilah with the football and they boys wanting in on it, then all of them together.

We wrapped up the week with a date to the temple. It's been a good week.

New Years Day~we ate at Grama's and celebrated Aunt Barb's birthday, then stopped to help feed the cows on our way home. (Only our dad feeds cows in his flip flops...but that's his trademark by now.)
Monday: Happy 2nd Anniversary us!
We had a Great day! I had basketball in the morning then met my 2 cute boys at Durangos for lunch. YUM. Then we went to a park and hung out with Annie, Ayla, and Blake. It was a beautiful day! We had a blast (ok I wiped out trying to help Cannon down the slide that was disastrous, but everything else was perfect)Annie's kind of getting into the photography thing so we were the subjects while her and her sister practiced. I was excited about it... and Isaac was a sport. I'll have to post some evidence of that fun later. Then we went for a little 4 wheeler ride, first date reenactment :) It was too dang cold though, so it was super short but still a really fun Anniversary.

And we had a fun surprise visit from Aunt Laur and Shad this week, so we put her to work tending. (Actually we put Grampa to work tending this week too)Cann Man's trick this week-turning the lights off...Isaac's just a fun dad, they find meaningful projects to work on even if he's only 8 months old! (which was a official this week-man time flies!)
