Isaac says I should let the boys pic out their own ties and that they don't need to match all the time...but when dad's out of town, all bets are off! We totally went matching ties! And I wore a blue dress to coordinate too...and my friend at church asked me if I was pregnant. I am NOT. Why????? Oh I guess the answer to that is obvious. Whatever. People Suck sometimes-even when they are your friends. And I'll take my "motherly figure" because I get to me these guys mom. Totally worth it! I had some sleepovers with Cann and Colt in their room while Isaac was gone to conferences this last week. We had fun. They are the best.
See this cute little smile Tanner has, don't let it fool ya!
We call him Tanner the terrorist for a reason. Oh man! He filled the tub with anything he could find the other day while I was trying to cut the other boys hair. He doesn't walk yet (so close) but he climbs on everything!
We moved the chair away from the table so he could get on it--so he climbed on it and started picked the pictures of the apostles off the wall, one by one.
He's a handful! Tonight he's really on my list because he pooped in the tub. I yelled "Isaac Help!" So he came, saw the mess and said "Couldn't you have called for my mom for help?" (Cuz we're in Huntington) Oh Isaac. It was not the first time I've dealt with a mess like that...I would really like it to be the last time but I'm not holding my breath.
The other morning while Isaac was gone Cannon came in and said "Hey mom, is it ok if I gave Tanner a Dum Dum?" Ummm NO It was like 6 in the morning! But these days Dum Dums do make pretty much everything in Tanner's world right. (Shrug)
We had to sneak in a little Tilton time before we took off--we tried to get a picture of the kids because they are ages 6,5,4,3,2,1 (but Tanner was asleep) I'm sure we'll try for more pictures like this, we have until November when Noah turns 6.

Getting things ready to go with dad--all 3 of them helping him put the new trailer tire on. Then there she is, the mini van motorcycle pulling machine.
Oh I was a nervous wreck getting ready to go. I sent Isaac a picture of the ball because it just didn't seem to be down far enough, but he told me how to check it and we were good. Its a shame but, I just haven't pulled a lot, so Isaac was telling me all about how the straps should be even and what I was looking for-like if the tire started to turn and stuff--boy were were glad to meet up with him and have him take over as the driver! But Tuesday we picked up Cannon from his last day of kindergarten and we were off!
At about 1 in the morning we stopped in Ness City Kansas and bought ANOTHER motorcycle! This is one he'd been looking at for me (along with the broken one we bought in keokuk) But this one actually runs....I'll get there on the motorcycle stories.
We are supposed to be able to make it here to Emery County in about 17 or 18 hours. This trip took every bit of 25. UG! It was SOOoooo long. But once we're here--all is well and the good times are rolling.
We are having a blast...and maybe I haven't been totally on board on the motorcycle thing--but maybe now I am. So. Dang. Much. Fun! (me'n Cann are perfect riding buddies, we go about the same speed)

Motorcycles, Grandpa's side by side, his four wheeler, the .22, hiking, hobo dinners, today we went to Castle Dale to the pool...we've been having a ball. But I think I'm going to let the pictures tell the rest of the story (at least for now) cuz it's dang late--and we have Grandma but I'm going to need to rest up to chase these little guys around too!

Colty is such a faker--but Cannon really was just plain old tuckered out!

We love summer break!
Still hating that dang stress class but life is good!

Last Saturday the boys had to come home early from fathers and sons-such a disappointment Cannon has asked his dad to take him fishing again every single day since-but Isaac had to be back for Graduation stuff. While Isaac was busy the boys and I hit up the baseball game of two of his buddies. I ended up without my phone-so no pics- but it was pretty cute my boys watching through the fence. My kids had fun, I think Cannon's buddies thought it was pretty cool that he came. It was a win. With baseball on the brain we took a little BP in the front yard. Ya-we're swing'n toward the windows. They are wiffle balls but still! I voted against it but I obviously got outvoted. How bout this scene though-I'm in the street shag'n past balls. Colt on the bike-with roller blades- at least he had a helmet on. Then Tanner then the the dog then Isaac...before long we had the whole dang neighborhood there. Finally we were like "Ok, thanks for play'n we're going in have a great rest of your day." Yikes there was no end it sight!
This guys my little natural! Look at that-elbow up 😏
The only thing worse than how bad I hate Mother's Day, is how much it frustrates Isaac that I hate it. He says "Just tell me what I need to do to." But I argue if I have to tell him what to do to make it a special day-its not special, and I really do just feel selfish. I guess the expectation is selfish either way and one way I feel it?? maybe...anyway...He's totally dumbfound and can't figure out "why everyday's not special?"  He's not a holiday guy, never has been. We've yet to solve this...maybe someday. The details don't matter but I do love being a mother-it is hands down my greatest joy! So good enough! Happy Mother's day to me.
The boys made me these flowers in primary. I thought they were worth documenting.

We got to the park on Monday and it was like "Where's Tanner?" Oh he climbs up on the big kid toys now. Yikes. Actually the kid is a climber--he climbs on everything!!
Then we have some more baseball.
Colt wanted to print this picture at the library (but the computers aren't hooked up to any printers so we took a picture instead) I was trying to get him to write his name but he wouldn't so I did.
Cannon got to do the Jr Tiger Football camp this week. I think he had a good time. I hated him being gone for two extra hours, man that made for long days. I felt like I just watched to clock to see if it was time to go get him. But he said he wanted to do it if Gavin and Coen were, and they were so he signed up. He especially loved the day it was rainy and they got to do it in the gym. I didn't get any good pics, I wish I had a video of him chopping his little feet, then doing an up-down before tackling a dummy--it was SO CUTE! He's my biggest kid so sometimes I forget that he's still pretty small!
Cannon had a field trip on Wednesday, knowing Isaac would be done with classes I signed him up to go (fact: he's way more fun than me) and offered to tend Michaila's kids so she could go. I think everyone had fun. Coen's mom sent me the pic-thank Leslie-
And our Dad got his motorcycle back this week!! So we buy'm broken--that's Isaac's style. But he ended up having the dealership fix this one. These boys were happy to pile on it!
Tanner didn't actually ride with a helmet because it was too heavy, his poor little head just flopped right over--notice Isaac's fingers in the pic holding it up. But he was SOLD!!! Colt not so much (although he did get on once with Isaac but Isaac couldn't go slow enough for him to not freak out--maybe its because we were motorcycle free when Colt was Tanner's size?? Who knows?)
When I tried to get Tanner off??? Oh NO! How dare I? So they went for one more quick little loop before the rain got everyone off!
Football camp, motorcycles, we've had a busy week. When we back from riding motorcycles Wednesday I told Isaac I just wanted to go lay down (so he ended up feeding the boys and taking them BACK to ride some more...it was a late night, in the winter Isaac wants to go to bed at 6:00 and tells the boys "we're tired" in the summer 10:00 is no stranger to us. YIKES...on a school night!) But I ended up sick, the kind where your sweating but shivering cold. It was miserable--whats with me and my wimpy immune system lately? It better strengthen back up! But that kind a shot the day Thursday and today I found water in the basement again. Nasty! And that shot the heck out of today. Next week is sneaking up on us, I feel like there's so much that needs to be done but...either we'll get it done-or we won't--that just how it goes.
