The king of our bed...

Isaac said "Look at him, lay'n here like he owns the place"
Sometimes I worry about spoil'n him but then I just think "Na" and like to think of that Billy Dean Song "Let'm cry, let'm fiddle, let'm sleep in the middle...let them be little."
The one thing Cannon does that consistently reminds me of me (most everything reminds me of Isaac) is sleep with at least one hand above his head -maybe all kids do but I wouldn't know- I just know that's how I like to sleep. And I just like the other pic.

On Monday the Basketball Girls threw me and Cannon a shower, it was so fun to be around them again and...it was a BLAST. I'm not usually one for games but we were crack'n up. A race feeding each other baby food...and play dough baby modeling, oh and I found out I suck at nursery rhymes-oh well. It was fun, and of course we totally got spoiled.

As for this week's phone pics...
I'm getting to where I recognize the faces he pulls when he's work'n on a project...and what I get for trying to take a picture of my kid while he's working on a poop project....Pooped on...A LOT

I laughed and of course took a picture but I'll spare ya that one, it was gross~
Served me right! And it was a MESS. Now for the normal ones...

We love him! We're just love'n the life these days. (Expect the long LONG days Isaac puts in at Tuachan. But at least its work and at least he's here!)

LOVE seeing all the pics and glad to know, I'm not the only paparazzi mom out there. I love it!

Love all the pics! Cannon is adorable. He'll be jamming the basketball in that hoop in no time.

Isaacisms~Funny (or ridiculous) things he says

Isaac's always saying funny (or ridiculous) things so I'm going to try to record some of them. My friend does it with things her kids say...we might get to that but for now.
"How come his feet have those things on them?" (Little traction things on the footy pajamas) I answer "Because some kids his size can walk." (They jamas are marked 18 mo ~they're totally not THAT big though) "Buddy, how come you can't walk? I could walk when I was your size."
Hmm this guy is a character!

After burning myself twice cooking dinner today he told me we're going to have to start having family safety meetings.

Sabrina (Isaac's sister) says he has a little chuckle that he does when he's not really sure but he wants or thinks something should work out nicely, I haven't noticed the chuckle but watch out for the little nod.

He's too funny. I love him!

Isaac told Cannon he's a pretty good boy as long as he's getting whatever he wants. Then he was being moody so he asked if he was a girl. And he volunteered to cut my hair with a rotary cutter...what a pal, this crazy guy.

If I kiss Isaac goodbye Cannon starts smacking his lips, its super cute. Well the other morning he woke up ready to give his dad a kiss (I can't hardly talk the kid out of one, but he's game on to kiss his dad-Isaac's kind of weird about it, wishes he'd just kiss me instead.) Anyway the other morning after Cannon gave him a kiss on the cheek he said "Don't get used to kissing stubbly faces buddy, that's not the kind of girl you want to marry!" Cute. Funny. Classic Isaac.

Me commenting that Isaac didn't want to throw away the old nasty pillow he switched out and wasn't going to use any more "Colt man your dad would save anything!" Isaac's response "Anything I couldn't sell!" So true! And just for the record the pillow is gone. I threw it away.
December 2014 Cannon tells my friend with bigger arms "You have the biggest muscles ever-how'd you get'm?"

Cannon to Colton "Colt, your just a little boy, but I'm a Big boy, I'm growing up to be an adult, that's why I can..." and truthfully I can't remember what he was rationalizing being able to do but it was pretty funny.
