Another week!
Soccer Saturday (with a baptism of one of our primary friends mixed in too)  it was a busy morning.

The boys both played great but Colt's team lost, then Tans team lost and to top it off we lost Addi. She had just gone to the car and was playing there (her and Seth had done that the other day) but it was pretty harrowing when we couldn’t find her. And then Colt was mad because he was the one at the park with her but he was just playing with his friends (which was fine…until she was gone) randomly all week I’ve found evidence or her playing by herself…like the started to be chewed but the mint must have been too strong for her piece of gum. Ha
Their favorite toy:

For the small price of a couple skittles in one pocket and a couple gummy bears in the other she wore a dress that wasn’t red. It was supposed to be 70 that day but actually it was still too cold for this whoops but…oh well I got my one picture -she never has to wear it again…but I do love it.

Trying our best to celebrate all of Holy Week!

Actually Seth crushed it, after we talked about ways we can welcome Jesus into our life he asked for a Book of Mormon to take to school. He couldn’t get any of his friends to take it because it was too hard to read so he gave it too his teacher.
Kinda made me think of President Hollands talk “Aa a Child” right? They’re just naturally so good.
Hey-who stole my camera?! It’s only fair that I end up on the blog too right?

Addster talked Dad into taking her to work with him.

At first she was being so good just drawing …but it didn’t last long then she just wanted to watch Paw Patrol so I went in and got her.

Addi had the idea to ride the 4 wheeler over to the cemetery which was kinda fun.
One single (tiny) red tulip survived the deer.

Basketball in the house

Today the kids didn’t have school. We went to a park. The horses got out from over at Rich’s. We went the baseball field and skateboard park. Seth went to a birthday party and Cannon had practice. Throw in 2 different shopping trips, one for a birthday present, and another looking for baseball pants (because none of the 14 pair I have here 😳 -for real-are black and that’s what color Cannon’s  team is wearing) and it was a busy day.

If the Easter Bunny is going to come to our house it better be  Saturday…so I still have a late night but I better just set an alarm because I think I hear someone trying to stay up and outlast me.

Friday snuck up on me.
Last Saturday the worked on Rich’s fence and took the horses over their…neighborhood animals I guess.

He wanted our grass to have a chance to grow and Rich was fine with it so-cool. Except they had  to take the water trough over there—then they take hoses and use Ray’s water.
Whatever.
That’s a cat in my house 👎🏻 at least the kids know to get’m out.

We survived conference. I LOVE the conference messages…sometimes it’s less that family bliss as it all plays  out. But we watched and we enjoyed and ate lots of treats …and we will study so we’ll call it a win.

I bought white legos off of eBay thinking hey do your best make a temple…they made ships. They had fun though. Ironically though this week we this for cfm

Hmmm-maybe the distraction strategy isn’t really what we should going for…
Try to do push-ups with Addi on board…probably equally distracting. It was during a song though 🤷🏻‍♀️

Trying to pet Rays turkeys.

Lighting firecrackers and shooting Tanners Cannon

Back in the glasses business

Soccer and basketball in the house…ok… but I will pull the plug on this eventually Add.

Bringing the horses home to try out.

Tanner the chess teacher…he was smoke’n Seth so they switched sides. I thought that was pretty smart.

Add had a screening at the ECLC today. I didn’t remember that with the boys but the director told me they do it now in an effort to have more balanced classes.

And tonight Isaac was just doing something each of the kids wanted. He and Cannon shot baskets, Tan wanted to play family soccer so we did, Colt wanted to play hide and seek but I think we ended up watching Seinfeld instead….anyway Seth wanted to go get the Golden Goose—but some how that evolved into he and Addi having a sleepover in it.
They took stuff out but they aren’t actually out there…the probably is I know how this ends.

If he would sleep out there with them it would be fine.

The optimist is a little delusional…but Elder Cook did advise us to live optimistically on the sunny side or the street or something like that—Isaac’s crushing it 😉

Happy Birthday Tanner

Almost.
We decided to celebrate early since there is 6 hours of conference tomorrow. That just didn’t sound very fun for a 9 year old.
We haven’t told him he has to go to bed yet (truthfully I don’t plan on it) but he’s had a good day so far. He was sitting at the table playing with his new legos and he said “Mom,  you always say you can’t make me happy-but today I’m happy.” Oh good-1day a year. It’s a start 😉
Ok so the week…
Soccer Saturday!

Colts team had the double header this week so I watched Tanner first then Colt.
Isaac stopped by but he and Cann went to a ward service project and dug some fence post holes with the tractor.
Addi and Seth had friends at soccer-they watched a little, snacked a little and played at the park and then on the bleachers a lot!
This kid is in Colts class at school…so I thought the sequence was kinda funny (not for Colt)

Soccer is kinda stupid—it’s not a foul. Or at least not this game. The refs are just kids but…they also don’t do anything. It doesn’t help that I don’t know how it works. The kid on the side threw his flag up but nothing changed-I don’t know if the middle guy had to see it? Over ruled it? Who knows.
Anyway
Wanna meet the new horses?
Randy

And Clint

Randy and Enzo have been trying to sort things out-they’re always fighting.  Clint doesn’t seem to care—I’m not a fan of Appaloosa’s but he didn’t get to pick what he looked like, he might be my favorite just cuz he stays out of it. Oh and I guess Clint Eastwood rode a horse that looked kinda like that in some movie-that’s why he’s named Clint. And Randy was from some old western too but Isaac google searched it and somebody with the last name Randal was as close as he got. I don’t know or care. I did make him get a bale of hay though—they’re not enough feed around here for 3 horses! Ug.
Anyway…Saturday Isaac and Cann got the concrete forms moved. I’m not sure what they were doing here…

Sunday my little whittlers designed a little crossbow. They had blast and made a HUGE mess downstairs. Well all of downstairs is a huge mess always but they added to it. I swept the stairs because I was going crazy and I made them clean it up before they went to bed. They got some of it…but what about the crud they’d already tracked upstairs and through the house? They didn’t get it.

I ruin all the fun-just ask them! 😉

It was nice enough to get outside Monday-so they made a bow.
They love playing outside!

I’m loving Rizzy’s tulips!

Pic from Mrs Feeney

You can guess how this ended up! Exactly how it looks like it’s going to end…

Hide and go seek when the brothers go to children and you it’s kindof Mandatory. I had to turn the light on to take a picture but this was a pretty good hiding spot in the dark.

Seth read this book he wrote to Mrs Gray! (And Mrs Totta so  Tanners 1st and 2nd grade teachers) he was so cute describing it to me. “Yeah mom, I drawed one of those big blue and green circles, I can’t remember what it’s called but we live on it…” I said  “Earth?” “Oh yeah, Earth!”

I don’t know what else but I know his book had Earth on it!
I got to go over to the temple yesterday. Isaac is so good to tend. He and Add had fun but I think it was kinda a long day for him. 🤣

And the birthday fun.

Scones (well a Navajo taco first) but scones dinner—I’m not even sure we’re going to make it to the cake!
Wait they just came in…I guess we are making it…
