Saturday we headed to Shoal Creek for a little Bunk house fun!
(Hatchets for everyone-maybe I’m not the smartest person 🤣)

Little sandbox fun

This kids climbs on everything and is the first grandkid to figure out climbing up over the back of the couch to turn on the sink. Oh brother! He was into everything!
Monday we slipped over to see Grandma Cottam.
Kinda messed up the pic with the shadows but we were there and we have evidence!

We drove up to Cedar to meet dad—and cashed in on a little cousin time. Chicks and nerf wars-neither happen at my house! And Dad came with a new bike for Colt from Tyler! So fun!!

Tuesday we hit the Res with Klint’s family.
It sure is pretty up there! It was a little chilly but I think the kids still had fun.

Cann and Riley tried skim boarding...kind of
And Isaac really was on the phone the whole time-Bri got that pic.
That afternoon Grampa took a 1/2 day off and we went out over the hill. It was great except the part where we tried to kill Belle. Whoops. I forgot about her and didn’t load her up in the Rhino with us when we caught up to Isaac he reminded us and we went back to look for her, she wasn’t too far behind but she’d had a heck of a run. We made the next stop water for her!

We had so much fun on the bikes we even got Grama and Grampa in on it.

Wednesday we had the whole cousin crew! Of course we tried for pics so we have 100 versions of this:

But the kids had fun, if I had known Bri was going to hang out with us I would have made her one too.

Sunday night we had popcorn and cheesecake to celebrate Cannon’s un-birthday. Wednesday it was Tan’s turn.

A Trip to Santa Clara has to have lots of Feedyard pics!!

Friday we did a little service project up to uncle Klint’s then went swimming at Grama Kay’s.

Isaac went motorcycle riding with his cousin Phillip while I packed up. Grama took the kids and all the fix’ns for a BBQ to Cedar and the kids got one last hurrah to play. Ky made some yummy burgers, Shad and his wife cane (I had only met Kennedy via FaceTine) so all in all it was a fun, great, family filled week. It was hard to leave (well for me and Tan at least) but this week whete on to Ison family adventures to stay tuned! 😉

Utah ❤️

Oh we’ve had a blast I’ve got hundreds of pics to prove it. I just need to sort through them all!
But here a little taste of the many faces of Tanner when I want a smile
🤣
Some of them are repeats but I couldn’t tell when I was looking at that many!

Oh I love these boys!
Hopefully all the details...or at least pics-soon!

The roof project Mother’s Day and getting out of town

Oh boy clear back to last Saturday...
Isaac was not happy with the job the guys did painting the trim on our house-so he and the boys went to work re-scraping and painting it. It’s crazy those guys are hard workers but...when you hire the loggers to do the roof...I dunno it doesn’t really make sense to me. But I was so excited to get a new roof-whatever, we’ll see time will tell.

He’s the celebrater Hater and never once did he refer to “Mother’s Day” but Saturday he was very much dialed in on projects that I wanted done so I have to be thankful for that and we worked on the front door!!!! (First time since my birthday-that’s part of how I know it was “for” Mother’s Day! Ha) AND he bought Pizza for dinner! Yes! Now your speaking my language! We went Pizza Hut so the boys could use their Bookit coupons from reading and Tan got to use one of Cannons, the loved it l, it was great.

Sunday I can’t remember anything significant, oh wait it was Mother’s Day and even if he’s not much of a celebrater I am so thankful for his gospel perspective. He does honor Mothers and he and the boys gave talks on Mother’s for home sacrament mtg. I really recognized I need to be more grateful for that Monday when I went to the Dentist and the hygienist asked “how was Mothers Day?” I shrugged and said “fine but they saved all the dishes for me until today” when her and the assistant gal (now let’s be honest I spend enough time at the dentist that I’m friends with these people by now) anyway they were hilarious they were like “oh yeah-Mothers Day is such a crock! all it does is trick ya into hoping it’s going to be a great day but it always sucks” it was pretty funny but it made me feel better about being grouchy about the dishes that waited for me so I didn’t have to do them on mothers day. But also just super good to recognize the good a gospel perspective brings.
Anyway that was that
I looked out the window first thing Monday to see my 9 year old running the tractor.  Just the bucket cuz Isaac needed lifted up. But...That progresses quickly to the Kubota by himself. He was pretty stoked.

Monday the got to try out that new paint sprayer. In the morning and we did the column in the evening! I’m happy with it but it’s still sagging so I think I want one more in the middle.

Still a little saggy in the middle but Soooo much better!
Oh and we did haircuts too...when they wanted to help I figured summer was a great time for that! 🤣

Other than that it was mostly just getting ready to go.
Sethy’s at that cute stage where he folds his arms for prayers and I love it!!!

Isaac came home after being out church’n in on the 3rd and said “oh sister so and so needs a ride to the hospital on the 13th” I said “oh aren’t we going to be out of town?” But what he really meant was he had committed to be the ride, and have her daughter hang out at our house...I found out the clarifying info at a YW meeting but whatever. So we hung around until the 13, and hit the road after dropping them off (they live about 35 min away but at least it’s west)
Isaacs sister called this week and we were talking about how he’s the nicest guy and would do anything for anyone and I was thinking “yep ...yep...yep and that’s why we’re still here” I am thankful he’s such a nice guy though!!
Isaac changed the trailer tire 3 times while we were picking up the Sister who had surgery’s prescription, then back to the original why we dropped them off. 🤷‍♀️ And thankfully he notice a flat tire in  Grand Junction so we were able to ge that fixed before it blew.
I just loved their 4 little heads sticking out watching them change the tire, it was pretty cute.

There was no stopping at a play place and some places you couldn’t even get a fountain drink (we don’t but we usually like some ice water to sip on)

But we made it!!!

Seth did...ok...the 3 older boys were Amazing!

The scheduling side of things is kind of tough-well I think so. It’s kinda hard to see Grandma Ison for a few hours and then be like “see ya” we’re headed south, but that was the plan all along-made by Isaac. But then it changes cuz his brothers were coming down and his Aunt was moving again and is storing a lot of stuff at his moms—anyway bottom line is I feel bad But I still want to head south before Grampa Chip starts moving cows and stuff so Isaac stayed and will come Monday the boys and I just took Grandmas car and came. Isaac says I shouldn’t feel bad and really it’s working out great, I am so happy to be here!!! I just love it!!! But it’s still weird because we barely stopped there and while it’s so good to get to see cousins here we’re missing cousins there.
Ya know...maybe I should start making the plans. Hahaha
I laugh but I know Isaac would 100% say “you totally should”
Hmm

Anyway
Grandpa doled out some long overdue birthday spankings when we got here...

We’re here for week...then who knows?
But we’re going to enjoy it while it lasts!!!
