Saturday we went down to our buddy Drakes baptism (Cann did great leading the music) then Grama took the big boys to Marceline. (Walt Disney’s home town) they had fun.

And we ended up having the missionaries over. Seth was “helping” Isaac with his salad project 😳😳😳
Maybe safety is not our thing (Am I just figuring this out?) ...I mean I’m taking pictures...

Then just more Grama fun, it’s not like there’s a ton to do around here and the boys were at school so much  of the time but we sure had fun having her here!

Tanner -and Colt made Count downs to mark off each day until Grama comes back 😊

And Colt was pretty proud off this equation...

And now it’s back to regular old life around here...things like flat tires and such.

But we’re pumped it’s Conference weekend!!!

Grama’s here! So mostly we’re basking in the Grama’s spoiling us fun! But first I forgot this picture from last week. Cannon rides to Cohen’s house every day after school and it saves me having to go to one of the 3 schools. They take turns riding on the pegs and the day Cann took his drone for show’n tell they had an extra balancing act!

Grama got here first thing Saturday morning after driving through the night. Yay!!!!!!

Cann’s buddy asked him to lead the music at his baptism (that’s tomorrow) so they were practicing 😊

Isaac spent pretty much all day Saturday working on the front yard with the tractor. Monday our neighbor brought his big tractor over and finished smoothing it out. Then we spent a few evenings planting it.

While Grama built some shelves downstairs for me, they are AWESOME and I’m super exciting about having a little food storage place down there!

Dennis our neighbor that brought his tractor over hooked us up with some wheat to mix in with the grass seed he said it will help stabilize the grass...or something like that. The boys loved getting it, tasting it, watching him load his semi with it all kinds of fun—they came home after dark but beaming! I scattered it with the hand spreader the next morning -with Seths help- it was a little more of a project that I thought I was getting into but it worked out.
The Grama spoils...oh and everyone’s favorite toy-her phone.

This is Seths favorite way to eat yogurt.

And tonight was our last flag football games of the year. I think both boys had fun.

Other than that there just a ton of pics on my phone of my dang eyes. I just keep trying to see if they’re still swollen or if they look red or bla bla whatever! It’s time for me to get deleting! And time for allergy season to END!!!!!!!

Bout it

It’s been a good week! Saturday Isaac was working on the porch...must have been my birthday week. He doesn’t even realize it but he only works on that stupid porch when it’s my birthday or Mother’s Day. Saturday was actually quite a work day. The boys clean out the barn. I worked on downstairs...so long still to go but I’m into celebrating progress!

We survived Sunday. Some Sundays Isaac is gone ALL day other times he’s home a surprising amount I really don’t mind either way I just wish I knew which it was going to be. He was gone all day this last week but the missionaries came over and did a little lesson with the boys to help us get excited about Conference, we loved that!
Monday I was working on YW stuff when I heard what I thought was writing on the wall...it was writing with toothpaste! The little stinker dunked a whole roll of toilet paper in the toilet that day too-a least you can buy that stuff again.

Grama’s coming! She’s on here way now and we’re pretty excited about it but Tuesday the boys got a little pre-Grama surprise from her. Face shields! Tan actually wants to go to church again. Ha! He hates the masks!

The best was Cannon telling his friends that Grama “always comes through” for them! 🤣🤣 it’s true.
Wednesday I survived the bbq with the youth combined activity.  Isaac wanted to grill fajitas...slightly more work than a pack of hot dogs and box of chips. Sheesh.
Allergies have been kicking my tail for WEEKS now but this last week my eyelids have been swelling a ton, it’s horrible. I’ve tried a few different medicines but tonight I took Benadryl-so basically I better wrap this up! I’m fading fast! Thursday I had a great birthday. One friend made me a cake-another made dinner. Tanner said 2 or 3 times today we needed to do a re-do on my birthday because I didn’t get any presents. I reminded him that my friend gave me a gift but he was unsatisfied. Ha! At least I’m teaching my boys to celebrate! Isaacs usually good for a little chocolate-he brought home cheesecake too. And then I shop for whatever I want! This year when he asked what I wanted I told him “please pull the trigger on a new bed” we need one so bad but I can’t do it because if he complains about it I want it to be his choice he complaining about. Not mine-I don’t handle that at all. So I I think he’s working on it. Fingers crossed. We were going to go out to eat yesterday but then my friend made dinner so we postponed until tonight. Isaac ended up taking a call (I think bishop stuff) but I ended up with 4 little kids at the restaurant by myself! They were pretty good but it was all kinds of stressful! but delicious and worth it too! Then we headed off to football, only I completely fumbled. We rolled up at 6:30...but it started at 5:30 so Colt only got to play 5 or 6 downs. Such a bummer! Cann had fun at his game though.
Seth likes Salsa...

I’m too tired to write anymore!
Good night!

Saturday was busy! First we had our friends the Zimmermans over-they are moving and had a showing on their house so they came and hung out with us. We had a great time chatting and zip lining. We were outside most of the time, the weather was beautiful but when I came in I found this little race track. 🤷‍♀️
Colts pretty creative. I think the blue tape was just to make the hot wheels look faster. Ha!
Then the next pic is just plain old real life around here!

Tinkering with his skid steer wore him out but just take a glance and then a wild guess what my shower looks like!!!!! I was scrubbing it (futile) when I had the idea to use the degreaser soap we wash the cars with! Now I just need to follow through!

That night we went up to downing to the tractor pull. Isaac and Cannon LOVED it. They wandered around and talked to the drivers. For me it was RAGING allergies...I was really just babysitting out kids and...my neck is just not that red.

Anyway
Sunday I can’t remember anything too exciting but good news Monday-all of  that tinkering finally paid off. He got the air conditioning to work in that skid steer! He was pretty excited! He actually had to work but got that done too. The kids had the day off of school for Labor Day. Life got a lot better once I kicked them outside! Thankfully it was good weather!

But actually they ended up being really helpful once outside. I started cleaning up the wood mess in the basement and they voluntarily helped me! It was great! I gave them a dollar! And I am SO SO SO HAPPY that mess is out of the basement! There’s still lots to do down there but that one had been driving me crazy for 2 years!!!

I was happy to send them back to school Tuesday! It kinda got things back to normal. Cannon got to go to football Wed but Colts practice and tonight’s games got rained out. It’s rained a ton this week! Always reminds me I’m really a desert kid!
They figured out how to run the printer themselves...that’s a lot of battleships they printed out!

This little kid is a terror! This was him spreading socks all over the house. Tonight it was climbing up and pulling stuff off my dresser-he made a huge mess but maybe it was the jumpstart I needed on getting it cleaned off anyway...🤞🏻

Colts pic from school and Tan working on preschool stuff so I could get a cat nap...yeah right!

But that’s the wrap.

Pretty slow week for us but we’ll take it! We replaced the ceiling fans in the boys room. I don’t know what other projects we were up to but I’m sure there was something. Sunday Cann and I made a video about how to use compare a face on family search for the ward family history channel. That was fun...oh maybe when Bro Webb gets it posted I’ll insert a link. Two times this week Tann got to have his buddy Haven over while her mom worked on potty training her little sister. Evenings were pretty jam packed with a wars frisbee golf outing, then young women’s and 3 nights of football in a row. Not a lot of pics this week.
Oh but Seth is Sooooo happy to see Tan after school and always gives him a hug. Then we go get Colt and he just wants his water bottle. Ha. Sorry Colt.

Then just tonight’s football fun. The teams are different every week they just mix them up but Colt was on easily the best one of his age group-and he did good. Pulled a few flags and scored another touchdown. Poor Cannon was on easily the worst team of his group. Oh well, have him a chance to shine right? Maybe I dunno-he was pretty frustrated but I thought he did good.

Bout it.
I mean surely there was more to the week than that but oh well, that’s all I’ve got for this go around.
