I should be grateful…and sometimes I am…but sometimes I wish WE could just be a little more…. conventional. Ha!
Anyway I guess there’s a good place to start…see once Kindergarten basketball pics are all on his phone and he’s still gone.
Bro Baker bringing the building it up the driveway.
And with friends like us the poor guy doesn’t need enemies (I said that to him and he said “well I sure don’t need a gym membership”) —he helped us unload it! And it was kindof a tedious pain in the butt.
So I thought I told the story last week but I just skimmed that post and didn’t see it, so if this is a repeat-sorry! Anyway last Thursday night Colt and Isaac took off in the (not so Golden) Goose to pick this building someone had tore down in Arkansas…they made it to the airport (about 20 minutes) before that stupid truck that’s always broke down—broke down. I don’t know what happened! They were gone about 3 hours before the came home (I did not run a rescue mission) but they were going to borrow Bro Bakers truck he’s not using them he was in Kansas headed this way anyway so ultimately he just paid Bro Baker to go pick it up. Seriously what a blessing! I was so ultra concerned I was going to have to run a 5 hour away rescue mission. Anyway—he got it here Sat morning.
Oh yeah Saturday morning started with me taking the Hunters to the tree stand…
They heard lots of shots from other people but didn’t see anything and Tan was cold enough he just wanted to be done.
Then basketball
I think Seth’s favorite part is getting this kid to chase him when he’s nowhere near the ball. Tomorrow then 2 more weeks—I’m counting down. ๐
They thing we “need” one ๐
Sunday…Isaac had to go to Hannibal so I had the troops.
We made cookies for Cann’s leadership group.
He had so tell people he was thankful for them…
I had one friends say that it was “so darn sweet” and another friend say “seriously? Thanks for the rides—that’s all he (her son not Cann) could come up with?” ๐ I agreed with both friends.
I told Cann thanks it was nice but I don’t really care what he says I care how he acts and how he treats his family.
Hmm…it’s the truth!
Helper!!!

We like the book Go Dog Go around here-so Addi has started a little “do you like my hat?” game. ๐
Cann’s fans!
Trouble! She calls it her “heavy stool” and she uses it to climb on anything.
Brothers take note—she’s dribbling with her eyes closed. ๐
Cann gets annoyed by his siblings but they totally look up to him!
A school project
And another basketball game for Cann tonight!
