Last Weeks Pic's Finally

Here's me being sponged. I was just thankful for the big Thor to take most of the sponges.

My mom and I took Ann (and Po...ug I hate dogs) on a little walk

And while I was pulling pictures off of my phone I could help but grab these of Isaac repairing out back window. And yes that is definitely a hatchet in is hand, and the bottom one is of the rug that ended up being the window that night. It's been a while ago but it was an eventful family home evening!

Another week has just flown by! Mostly I like the blog for the picture aspect of journaling but this week I've got nothing! (Well really there are 2 pics on my cell phone but its currently lost, I'm hoping I find it at my mom's house today, I know I had it over there last night) I guess I could start the week backwards with that. We watched the Cougs play (and win) over there last night. I asked Isaac "After we've been married for 25 years, do you thing you'll be a BYU fan?" to which he replied "No, I don't like Mormon football, but I still like the church." Whatever! It was really nice of him to watch it with me when he doesn't even like it. I also bottled a few peaches with my mom yesterday. Friday he went to the auction so he had to work late, I took him dinner, it was fun we had a little 1/2 hour long date, then I went back to school and watched part of the football game. He worked at the Data Center late a few nights this week, the one he didn't I had to go to the soccer game. Nothing to exciting. It was homecoming week at school, so one day the students threw wet sponges at the teachers at lunch. I consented when it was a fundraiser for the exec council-but the little buggers didn't even end up paying. And they had a volleyball tournament at lunch, so the winning team got to play the teachers Friday-we lost :( but its pretty fun.
That's all I can think of for now. This morning we were sitting on the couch cutting up old Ensigns looking for any President Monson quotes for our SS lesson, that was actually pretty fun.

This week has been crazy, and maybe more fun than we can handle... I can't remember Monday but starting Tuesday with 5 hours of soccer (and I didn't see a single goal) it was one thing after another. I don't have the best pics, but we did have the best time and I'll post what I can.

Wednesday we did the midnight right now Snow Canyon with my work friends.

Thursday I came home to this fun surprise!

Then we went to Grampa Frei's Birthday Party where the great-grandkids stole the show. Riley showed off his walking skills and Ann was just as cute as ever and really thought Grampa was going to share some ice cream with her, she totally got ripped off.

Friday we had a little camping adventure, its been a long time since we've done anything like that and Isaac LOVE LOVE LOVES it, so we threw some tin foil dinners together -cooked them in the oven and took them with us, I liked that trick so I didn't have to smell like smoke- a mattress in the back of the truck and headed to Sand Cove

Notice the full moon, for some reason we didn't really make the connection that it was bright enough to ride down Snow Canyon it was going to be just that bright shinning in our eyes all night long. Oh well it was fun.

Saturday afternoon we went to the lake (in a wind storm) with Jill and Devin. It was too windy to do anything but swim but I was so glad we got to hang out with them before they move up north.

Saturday evening we went up to Klint and Caroline's for Riley's Birthday party. It was fun. Cute little guy, that year went by fast.

Today it was down to Vegas to the Turners (basically family) for Brad's "Not" Homecoming. Its was so fun to see everyone. Bill didn't know we were married, he came out to have a chat with us and make sure he approved of Isaac, it was just cute and funny. Tonight we took the sprayer we borrowed back up to Uncle Paige's. He and Aunt Afton got to showing us all of the old antiques they have, it was pretty cool, they have some neat stuff. We ate almonds off their tree, grapes from under the arbor that "were more for juice'n" and came home with a few of the seedless ones and some delicious peaches. It was a good time.
Busy Busy Fun Week!

Isaac's been to Emery County the last 3 weekends. Yikes, it fun there but that is a long drive! Last week his youngest brother Shawn came home with him. It was fun to have him (but I don't know how much fun he could have had, all he did was work!) They pulled the tree stumps out of the front of our yard, re-oiled the roof, and my Grama's shed, and hauled load after load of hay. Oh and Shawn fixed the vacuum. I felt so bad for Shawn after they hauled 4 or 5 loads of hay the first day here I said "I'm so sorry Shawn." And he said "It builds Character" that made me smile and I thought he really must be related to Isaac (or brainwashed by Isaac-either way) He was a ton of help and it was fun to have him. They also got the jet ski running! So that was one fun thing he got to do but true to his vacation the throttle cable broke while he was out in the middle of the lake and he had to paddle the dang thing in. Poor guy.
Other than that just a regular busy week, we had Back to School Night (pointless-and a horrible turnout besides.) I helped my mom a little baking goods for the bake sale for Jodi, that was fun. We went to Emery County Friday Night, Shawn and I watched a little of the DH vs Emery football game and Isaac came up later after he got off. We had a family work day on Isaac folks house Sat. It was really cool having all of his brothers there, and they got a lot done, its looking good. Isaac hurt his knee pulling the staple gun off the roof, I was kind of worried about him because it got pretty swollen and he was limping pretty bad. However, when we left he saw trucks he recognized at Jesse's car lot and found them there putting the sewer line in. When he hopped right in the trench to help I figured his knee was probably alright.
Today after we taught our Sunday School class we went to the last meeting of the old singles ward. (They're doing away with all of those...again) It was such a blessing in both of our lives I was glad we got to go, and it was and excellent meeting. President Graf and Bishop Hurst both spoke, it was sad, but it was a really neat too. We saw so many great friends, and I especially liked getting to visit with the leaders afterward. I'm grateful the ward was there when I needed it, we're definitely some of the lucky ones.
Then family dinner and Grama C came, we swung by Grama and Grampa Frei's for a couple minutes before Isaac took off to Priesthood and that about wraps up the week.

Working on the jetski...

Schools back in. UG, I wasn't very happy about my schedule but...we'll make it work.
I am the scorekeeper and announcer for the girls soccer team. Which means when there are home games I don't get home until almost 10:00-kinda feels like basketball season. That's what I get for having so much fun coaching basketball with Coach Allen. The good news is I'm getting better at it, the first came I was so nervous-and said I was-and the mic was on. That was dumb, oh well. I just really wish they scored more, too bad, its soccer. Isaac is a trooper, he came one of the nights and brought me dinner, then stayed for both games, he was just going to stay until he saw a goal. I bet he doesn't go with that philosophy again.
He stays super busy with all kinds of projects. Here he is oiling our roof.

Aaron and Tarra's wedding & Emery County

Mr. & Mrs. Aaron Ison

The Castle Valley Pagent

Work'n on the house.

I was going to post every Sunday...that didn't work out. Life just gets in the way. Last weekend we went to Isaac's younger bro Aaron's wedding. They got married in the Salt Lake temple and it was really an awesome ceremony. Then it was off to Emery County for the reception and such. I wish I had a picture of him driving and me and 3 of his bro's in the back seat of little green driving from the reception to his parents house (like 2 blocks) it was hysterical. We also caught the Castle Valley Pageant while we were up there, it was great I loved it. Sat, we helped his with projects at Grama Daley (Kenworthy's) and his parents house. Good times.

Good Friends!

In the last couple weeks we've had some good times with great friends. One of my best friends from Hawaii, Tami, and her family stopped on their way to California. It was so fun to see them. We met at the Temple visitors center then hit up Cafe Rio, hiked the crack on the Dixie rock then went to Nielsen's for some ice cream. It was so fun to visit and catch up.

Isaac's buddy Jesse and his family were our first house guests. Guinea Pigs. We had so much fun. First we went down to Vegas and the guys did the car auction things while us gals shopped. No scream'n good deals to report but we had a good time. Then we came back here (got caught in the mini flood/hail storm...I just wish I had video of it, it was crazy we laughed and laughed) and tried to squeeze all the fun we could into a Friday night and Saturday before they went home.

And today our friends Blake and Annie moved to Mississippi. On our 2nd date Isaac was going to borrow bikes from his good friends. It turned out we used my roommates bike and I had one so we didn't have to barrow them but I remember thinking that was weird that he would borrow his friend's bikes...But then I got to know them, its not weird at all. Isaac and Blake are like brothers (except they don't fight or look anything alike...) We did a lot of fun things, we will miss them.
